Not good
Liked this one cover to cover. Timely tempo changes and the singer’s raspy voice kept me listening)
Should be in the 1001 albums not to listen to before you die. Typically I like Bowie.
Was never a Talking Heads fan growing up but turned into a big David Byrne fan after seeing him live with a couple buddies and a big bag of the rock and roll tobacco. Now when I listen to the talking heads — I realize what I was missing back in the day.
Skimmed through this one….
Mike drop — Boom Bitch!
Wow - enjoyed this album immensely. What a great groove — Planning to listen again in the summer whilst cruising in my rag top with my K9)
Drop the dude and this band would be better.
You know that kill bill 2 movie where she gets buried alive and uses her 1 inch punch against the inner coffin and eventually escapes after hours of relentless grueling effort …
Not something I would want to listen to during a colonoscopy.
My mood ring went from black to violet.
I only had a chance to listened to a few random songs. There are Dozens of bands that do the same thing only better.
The looping gets to be monotonous at times but overall I like the mix — very Pendulum without the Z-tar.
This is a big bag of poop.
When this band first arrived on the seen — I was expecting much more. Instead it turned into a 1 hit wonder…
No
After listening to the first song — I thought I was in for greatness but the following tunes never really matched up.
I wish I could be more receptive but just don’t dig it.
I’ve almost exclusively listened to contemporary Jazz for the last year. While not modern, this fit right in…
Became a YES fan after seeing them live back in the mid 90’s. I was entertained)
Simplicity at its best.
Never listened to Keith before — Very Nice! Great drummer he he.
I went to Floyd live 3 times in the late 80’s and 90’s. One of the best concerts of all time. BTW it’s a misconception that the dark side of the moon never sees the light. The back side of the moon faces the sun daily as it orbits around the earth, however, we on earth only see one side of the moon as the moon’s orbit is locked facing the earth — these are things you contemplate, as an astronaut, at a Pink Floyd concert.
So that’s where that song svefn-G-Englar came from. Now I know…
This is ok. Glad I had an opportunity to listen.
Everything sounds dark, eerie and creepy. Vocals sound like a cat in heat. Not many bands, if any, can pull this shit off. Summary — luv it!
Too much yo yo for me me yo.
I found nothing I can latch on to here. This is simply music that does not resonate with me.
Lou Reed came from this band? Had no idea. I’d give this album another listen…
Not bad)
Would I listen again: 5 Vocals: 5 Instrumentation: 5 Arrangement: 5 Lyrics: 5 Would I recommend: 5 Also a Great album cover. I thought I was listening to, trampled by turtles (Minnesota), a band I adore. Perhaps not for everyone but for me, this one is keeper)
Hell of an Album. Would be a five if it wasn’t for his kazoo voice.
This is another one that should be in the 1001 albums not to listen to before you die.
Songbird of her generation. I likey)
This is a big bag of poop
Never heard of this band and was pleasantly surprised. This is the stuff that keeps me interested and listening — on this journey of 1001 albums.
I must have listened to the A side of this album 1001 times back in the late 70s/80s. So yes - I like it - I like it a lot. In fact there is nothing I don’t like about this band — Aerosmith!
18 songs. 2 versions of Clint Eastwood. A Rock the house vid. This album is jam packed with content. Like the effort but not my style…
It’s the Stones
I’m glad I listened to it, but would be happy to never hear it again.
Sorry - can’t stand this guys music and don’t care about his backstory.
Good shit
Dudes voice is a bit sucky
As my Polish friend zbig, may say — This kicks many asses
Wasn’t a big fan originally but their sound has grown on me over the years. This is a most excellent album.
I’m not a fan of the thrash throat vocals. The rest — pretty good.
Hard not to like Bob with a band.
I can dig it. I think they over reached trying to put out ten tunes. Would have been a better album without 1 or two tracks. Remember should have been forgotten)
Neil’s best album! Wish he could still write this well)
