Abbey Road
Beatles
Pre album notes: i legit have never sat down and listened to this album before and i think i have an aversion to it just because it’s so popular. guess i’ll pony up and get over myself!
Come Together - bop
Something - good
Maxwell’s Silver Hammer - oh a bit of a different vibe. just a goofy tune about murder! not sure how i feel about it but they can’t all be hits
Oh! Darling - OKAYYY i have felt this. relatable. love it
Octopus’s Garden - they’re just having fun with this one. i have to say as someone who likes They Might Be Giants a lot, no one told me the Beatles similarly just did silly stuff. I should’ve probably known this before adulthood.
I Want You (She’s So Heavy) - love. DAMN. there’s not much here besides vibes but that’s fine. i can vibe.
Here Comes The Sun - really a good song i have just heard it so many times
Because - not my fav type of song, i’m not a big fan of queen (sue me) and other songs with dialed back instruments and harmonizing vocals in this style. at least it’s short..
You Never Give Me Your Money - okay yeah okay yeah!! turn it around, beetle.
Sun King - no complaints. the spanish was fun. honestly would add this to a summer smoke playlist. transitioned into the next song super well!!
Mean Mr. Mustard - they’re having fun w it. and they’re allowed!
She Came In Through The Bathroom Window - same notes as the last few. makes me want to nod my head to the beat. honestly one of my favorites 🙈
Golden Slumbers - short & sweet! just not that notable.
Carry That Weight - the transitions in this album are literally fucking insane. they brought me back just with how smooth that was. the themes! i totally get why this is on this list. everyone should listen to it once.
The End - not much to say, guitar pops off a little
Her Majesty - wait what is this doing here? the last song was such a good end song. this one has a much different vibe & is so short. i like how many of these are short.

Melodrama
Lorde
Green Light - i haven’t really listened to Lorde before, so far it reminds me of k flay but more pop? not bad just not my personal taste!
Sober - i liked it more than green light but i still don’t have much to say. not upset that i’m listening to it but i probably wouldn’t put it on
Homemade Dynamite - immediately liking this one more than the others. funny that it’s about partying but if you didn’t listen to the lyrics i wouldn’t guess that at all. this is giving pop radio hit to me!
The Louvre - really is reminding me of K Flay, who my sister is a big fan of so i should recommend this album to her. i like the lyrics of this one!
Liability - okay wait this is making me want to cry and it’s 10am… fav so far!
Hard Feelings/Loveless - okay so there are some great breakup songs on this album and i can appreciate that!! oh so. there’s just a different song that is part of this song halfway through. this beat kinda makes me want to sway my hips. work Lorde!
Sober II (Melodrama) - it’s a song!
Writer In The Dark - i like her heartbreak songs i guess, she does them well! good one
Supercut - i like this one too! ahhh!!! she does angsty love song so well!! also one of my favs i think
Liability (Reprise) - okay now she’s just having fun w it. i do feel like i have more respect for her as an artist after listening to this album, i think she has a creative vision and clearly is an artist with shit to say!
Perfect Places - ya i’m just not a partier so her party songs aren’t my fav i guess
honestly probably a 3/5 for me, i liked some of these but a lot of them i didn’t like. if i heard this is 2013 i think it would’ve shaken me to my core but not in 2024

Led Zeppelin II
Led Zeppelin
pre listening notes: i’m excited bc this is my dad’s favorite band!
Whole Lotta Love - so far sounds p much like what i expected, very of its time rock & roll w some trippiness that i guess is unexpected! ik this is a band al their own but my only real frame of reference for this type of music is aerosmith, motley crue, and some pink floyd-ness
What Is And What Never Should Be - i was a little tuned out for this one but yk. it’s very much easy listening music. i would gladly smoke a doob to this yk
The Lemon Song - the lyrics are very simple but it is a bop tho huh. the music is super good, the guitarist & bass & drums. tasty!
Thank You - mannn i would love to feel this way about someone. i feel patriotic???
Heartbreaker - i like this one. everyone can relate to an old lover who is no good for u i think
Living Loving Maid (She’s Just A Woman) - idk what this song is about but i am also just a woman! and it’s catchy!
Ramble On - we love a lord of the rings reference lolll. but i do love the vibe of this song. Rambling, searching for the queen of your dreams. yeah this is my fav one off the album. it’s also the only one i knew i think before listening today
Moby Dick - literally didn’t realize a new song had started from the last one bc it’s just drums
Bring It On Home - great name for the last song on an album. the use of daddy is weird. but idk the overall vibe is sick. i like the harmonica

Only By The Night
Kings of Leon
pre listening notes: i know two songs off this album, sex on fire and use somebody. and i like these songs! so i’m excited
Closer - off the top this is a funny name for a first track on an album bc closer as in proximity but also closer like finisher. music wise, i am a complete sucker for a laid back trippy beat and a whiny man/guitar. i like the vibe of this song but there isn’t much substance here
Crawl - gritty fuzzy baseline with gritty lyrics. again i like the sound & vibe but the actual substance seems lacking, could be me tho
Sex on Fire - i already know this one as i said & i like it!!
Use Somebody - same as before, i know this one and like it already. teenage me was listening to this
Manhattan - hey that’s where i am! lol. i guess this one is about having fun and doing what you want? guess you don’t need a real message when you sound good. which this song does! big fan of the musicality
Revelry - feels like a response to the last song. most lyric heavy song so far. i like the verses more than the chorus tbh, but i do like the verses. this is probably my fav one i didn’t know before so far. we love a song abt regret lol
17 - sorry to do this to this song but i’ve been kinda saying it the whole time. there’s a type of music i really like that sounds good but is less meaningful, and i think this whole album does this. i like the way this song sounds but i can’t imagine this standing on its own
Notion - sounds good man. Kings of Leon have worn me down lol
I Want You - woah, this one sounds.. different?? Leon i didn’t know you had it in you! it’s a hookup song?? this brought me back. new fav.
Be Somebody - at least it sounds different still, but idk how i feel about it. i like that we’re trying to be instead of use lol. but kinda meh, i like the baseline tho
Cold Desert - i like this one! it’s different, slow and sad. i think the singer’s voice is good and it’s nice to hear it do upbeat as well as sad, although his range is virtually the same in every song i will not hold that against him. annnddd there’s a bit of a fake ending! bring it back leon!
overall, i can’t rate this album super favorably because of the amount of stuff that sounded super same-y. i did find a new song i like (I Want You) but i wouldn’t revisit this album. 3/5

The Slits
pre listening notes: just listened to the new cmbc on Carrie Brownstein/Sleater Kinney and i’m excited to listen to a female punk rock band! even if it’s like 20 years before Sleater Kinney. also i always joke to my sisters that if they see i’m listening to british punk it means i’m not doing well. Let’s gooooo.
Instant Hit - woah this is.. reggae? what are they doing here. i haven’t heard anything like this before
So Tough - i wonder if this song is about the same guy from before? interesting to me that they’re singing about men. very experimental sounding, the lead singers voice sounds very raw, almost like she didn’t warm up
Spend, Spend, Spend - good to know that in the late seventies, consumerism was still destroying our lives as much as now
Shoplifting - a great song to follow up spend lol. this is so fun actually. this is my fav one so far, the energy is palpable
FM - who is going to tell the slits that fm doesn’t stand for frequent mutilation.. i honestly think this song relates to the present day in a way that is kind of insane? this song is over 40 years old but i still can’t help but wonder what is feeding my screen & waiting for todays transmission to give me the solution. i sound like a stoner.
Newtown - back to reggae! i don’t care for the lyrics so much but i LOVE the way this song sounds, particularly in the second half. we need another fix! catchy. would listen again!
Ping Pong Affair - i feel like this song in particular has had an influence on the girl punk scene (which like, i get referring to it with “girl” in the front is reductive but hear me out). i also like the message of this song tbh, fuck a man and his comics. this song follows a girl post breakup and i have personally related to so much of it
Love Und Romance - they talk about Babylon a lot. what was going on back then. it’s also funny to have a song like this following a breakup tune. it kind of reads like a joke in the context of the rest of the album. again, Up’s vocals are so wild.
Typical Girls - the message of this one is revolutionary for the time! i can see the influence on lager music here as well. i love the question “who invented typical girl?” and calling the idea of being a typical girl a marketing scheme because it is! god, sometimes i need to listen to stuff like this to realize that the capitalist critique i feel daily is not new. it’s a system that feels unnatural to live in. there’s a binchtopia ep where they talk about how the “teenage girl” was literally created to be marketed to. so much of what society considers a woman to be is a consumer. anyway, the song itself is also a bop. second fav on the album after Newtown (did i mention i like newtown more than shoplifting?) might be tied!!
Adventures Close To Home - sometimes girls should be allowed to be crazy and selfish. idk!
I Heard It Through The Grapevine - this song seems to be from the perspective of a man whose girlfriend is planning on leaving him for another man. and it’s a fucking BOP, feels of it’s time. this is their most streamed song on spotify and i understand, it is definitely the most easily digestible, i’m very used to hearing men moan about women. and as i said before it’s a bop. def a fav!
Liebe and Romanze (Slow Version) - musical noise. i wonder what the not slow version sounds like. i will use this time to review the album overall!
I feel like i wrote a lot more for this one than others but it just came to me at a good time and is a breath of fresh air after Kings of Leon.. sorry not sorry. this album was unique and inventive and not always my personal taste but had some certifiable bangers and it’s influence on other bands i like and respect is palpable. especially knowing the background of the band and that the people in it (thinking about Up in particular) we’re young and inexperienced musicians who just got out there and did the thing. like Abbey Road, I’m glad to have listened to it!! feels like music history. 5/5

Your Arsenal
Morrissey
pre listening notes: i know nothing about this honestly expect that i think people make fun of this for being male manipulator music
You’re Gonna Need Someone on Your Side - well so far it sounds like the singer from depeche mode with a rock vibe? very 80s. it’s a bop ngl
Glamorous Glue - big fan of the music and mixing on this one, very easy listening music. the guitar and drums are chefs kiss
Well Let You Know - i will admit i’m having difficulty paying attention to the lyrics. however what does he mean by we are the last truly british people you will ever know?! what was the political climate in england at this point in history? knowing the context of the music might help here
The National Front Disco - is he not just singing about england and being english? like it sounds good but the lyrics. what do they mean
Certain People I Know - is this about capitalists? maybe he’s not being as vague as i’m reading it. it’s catchy tho
We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful - this song is annoying. i dislike his noises he makes. this music is for british people.
You’re The One For Me, Fatty - he doesn’t really have that much to say i don’t think. i do want to take this opportunity to again emphasize that it sounds good but the lyrics? also i don’t like 80s music very much.
Seasick, yet Still Docked - this is my fav one so far bc of the lyrics yet it’s the most toned back musically. not a negative but i think if we could combine the musicality i know is there with good lyrics.. then i might really like one of these songs
I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday - i like this one. not many notes but it’s kind of what i asked for! i couldn’t listen to it regularly bc the music is grand and epic and not my vibe but i’m not upset at this one
Tomorrow - i’m annoyed by him i’m sorry i dislike repetitive lyrics and it’s so glam rock and i don’t vibe w glam rock & the 80s
overall i understand the appeal but this very much was not my personal taste. i was excited going in but i was disappointed. i think i have to rate this lower than the kings of leon one bc at least that album had two tracks i liked on it. 2/5

Head Hunters
Herbie Hancock
pre listening notes: i have heard of herbie hancock before but u honestly have no clue what i’m getting into. i like the album art, let’s go!
Chameleon - funk! holy shit funk. i’m omw to work with a latte in hand already late and this song is making me want to call out. i can’t work with this juicy baseline and saxophone in my ear. y’all this song is 13 minutes long. this rips!! and then halfway through it changes to a. well i was going to say sounds like Louie Zong but then i looked into it and louie zong cites herbie hancock as being one of his biggest inspirations so i guess no one was fucking doing it like this!
Watermelon Man - pretty much immediately a different vibe! there’s woodwinds here. flute and recorder and something else i’m not sure what it is? ahh but there’s that bass. this one was less hype to me than Chameleon but still very good! would def listen again
Sly - aptly titled, this song feels sly. smooth and inquisitive. fuck i love the saxophone. where was this while i was studying at college?? looking for jazzy lofi beats. i didn’t know i was subconsciously searching for herbie.
Vein Melter - much different vibe. more chilled out and laid back but still technically impressive and easy to listen to.
although this album is only four songs, the range shown and the musicianship is literally mindblowing. once again, i find myself immensely grateful that i’m trying this 1001 album thing out because although sometimes i get frustrated (cough cough morrissey), sometimes i’m introduced to genius. 5/5

Hot Rats
Frank Zappa
Pre Listening Notes: i have heard this name before but i am not familiar with his music at all. Hot Rats is an excellent name for an album tho lol
Peaches En Regalia - there are so many influences going on here! honestly reminds me of a lot of video game music, but also clearly draws inspiration from many different cultures. i hear jazz, some latin, and bits of eastern music licks
Willie The Pimp: I was a little distracted listening to this but it was easy listening and i liked the vocals at the beginning. very wobbly and technically interesting! i like the fiddle. lots of diffeeent instruments being used on this album so far
Son Of Mr. Green Genes - i love a jazz clarinet i can’t lie. i have never heard anything quite like this though, the instrument choice and swing mixed with what sounds like a bigger band sound (meaning like, my hs band) does still give it an almost video game soundtrack vibe but the guitar and drum set mix it up!
Little Umbrellas - starts off very jazzy with the bass and sax (love sax). i don’t really have much to say about this one. i would gladly listen to it while out to dinner somewhere, it’s very pleasant
The Gumbo Variations - woooooo!! i like this one the most so far, strong start! as i mentioned before i like sax, so the sax solos/freestyles are welcome! even if experimental
Must Be A Camel - a good one to end on, sims up the vibe of the album well. offbeat, experimental. at once expected and unexpected.
Not bad! It’s kinda neat to get two famous jazz musicians in a row, each with very different styles. I get the allure of Frank Zappa, it seems like musically/instrument-wise he was doing a lot of stuff i haven’t heard before. experimenting with sound. very technical. i don’t know that i would ever revisit this album personally, but i’m not mad that i had to listen to it. 4/5

Pornography
The Cure
pre listening notes: i know friday i’m in love and boys don’t cry, but those aren’t on this album. i hope i like it bc the 80s is a challenging music time for me. let’s go!
One Hundred Years - immediately, drum machine sounding beat. kinda creepy guitars? synth. 80s. “it doesn’t matter if we all die” is such a strong start to an album. maybe i’m projecting but with the political climate right now, i feel like this song is about knowing a war is going on. something much bigger than yourself but being unable to do anything about it. the hopelessness and being unable to stop thinking about it. dark.
A Short Term Effect - reverb going crazy! the floaty guitars make me a little uneasy. the lyrics are poetry.
The Hanging Garden - different vibe immediately, driving drums. every song so far has mentioned dying. what drugs were they on while making this? ik it had to be something. i like this one more than the other two tho
Siamese Twins - ok who hurt them bc damn. i do like this song tho
The Figurehead - y’all this is depressing music. heavy stuff. nothing like friday i’m in love lol. i looked up if the band used drugs and apparently two members left briefly after this album because of the heavy drug use. not to belabor the point it’s just so obvious to me
A Strange Day - lots of references to being blind. i guess this song is about the world ending? very similar sound to a short term effect
Cold - more synthy! another reference to a mirror. this album feels so introspective. once again, poetic lyrics. sad.
Pornography- the title track! the reversed radio clips are the beginning are cool & creepy. the lyrics don’t start until three minutes and thirty seconds in. i did more reading and i guess this album is considered by some to be the final in a dark trilogy, with this being the height.
i guess i didn’t know much about the cure before now and although i definitely feel more educated, i can’t say i enjoyed it. this is what the emos of the 80s had i guess lol (jokes!). i’d give this a 3 or 2 out of 5, i didn’t like it very much. in other news, this experience is fucking up my algorithm, Be Somebody from the Kings of Leon album is on my spotify daylist🙄

Portishead
pre listening notes: ido anything about this band. i have to get some work done today so there will be less notes than usual. their most popular album on spotify looks to be Dummy (1994) but this is the second most popular it seems
Silence - def not silence, i like the french at the beginning. kinda giving scary. i would love happy album
Hunter - i feel like i’m watching an artsy indie horror movie. i like the weird nano-esque fast paced bits, the musicality is interesting and unique.
Nylon Smile - sounds like a song about depression. the sound of this album so far seems divorced from time. this album came out in 2007 but there’s nothing tying it to that time. not good or bad, just an observation
The Rip - okay so i didn’t really have anything to say until the synth came in and then i legit got chills. just a genuinely good song. idk if i would listen to it on its own but. slay
Plastic - i liked it but not much to say
We Carry On - drums. weird! i like guitar riffing that comes in around the halfway point. idk how u come up with this stuff
Deep Water - acoustic guitar is wholly unexpected on this album. i like this one a lot. my fav
Machine Gun - sounds like a machine gun loll
Small - lots going on here but i don’t have anything to say about it. this album is full of droning noises and long high pitched sounds which i do not love
Magic Doors - nothing to say
Threads - I like this one
this album was a hard one because i understand why it would be on this list, i’ve never heard anything like it before. but can i say it was the most enjoyable listen? no. not a terrible listen tho. i’m neutral on it! 3/5

The Blueprint
JAY Z
pre listening notes: i haven’t listened to much jay-a but i’ve heard him as a feature and i love his flow and have a lot of respect for him, ik he’s been in the game for a long time. plus beyoncé chose him so. apparently this album came out on 9/11.
the ruler’s back - love that he just did an intro song being like “i’m back!! i’m going to say whatever i want!”
this is how i found out that The Take Over, The Break’s Over by FOB was a Jay-Z reference?? the beat is nice! LAAAAME. idk who he’s going after in this song but get their ass!
Izzo (H.O.V.A) - so far his flow sounds similar to what we’ve heard already but the beat is once again super well produced. i like this the most so far, i like the piano. by the end of the song i was singing along to the chorus
Girls, Girls, Girls - i also love girls. dropping this after getting w beyoncé is interesting.
Jigga That Nigga - also so catchy! i like this one a lot
U Don’t Know - i love the sample and the banter he has with it. sure i do! that’s where you’re wrong! idk i do like a song where people just talk about making bank and proving others wrong. a classic. i sell fire in Hell. i sell water to a whale. oh yeah this one is good
Hola’ Hovito - literally just keeps getting better! this one is great. he talks such big game (saying if he isn’t better than B.I.G., he’s the closest) but i buy it! plus the beat is AWESOME yet again.
Heart Of The City (Ain’t No Love) - ooo he said faggot in this one! hey, don’t get offended, he put a whole disclaimer song at the beginning😅 i do know he has said and done problematic shit but like. man. he is one of those people where i just want to forgive. cough cough cheating on bey. anyhow, this song is another banger
Never Change - okay i have to look up whoever produced this album because this beat goes so crazy. this song is so good. yay. okay i looked it up and not to say i could tell… but young kanye west worked on this. and timbaland. which i can’t say i could tell timbaland was on here but i’m not surprised bc he was on everything for a bit. but i could hear the kanye tbh. apparently he produced this song!
Song Cry - i liked this song so much i could go right back and listen to it again. this might the the first album i immediately go back for a relisten of. this track is so emotional and you can hear it in jay-z’s voice
All I Need - i love the 2pac reference and also bonnie and clyde is such a good fucking song. and the beat here is insane again, i love the bass guitar.
Renegade - the violin!!! mwah. hey uh. is anyone else on this track? no bc eminem is literally the only feature on this fucking album. that is crazy. this song is goofy as Hell but eminem is on it so.
Blueprint (Momma Loves Me) - really good. i’m not disappointed in this title track, it is more chill than a lot of the rest of the album but it feel celebratory, talking about the people in his life who helped him get to this point. and he didn’t even know how much better it would get.
Lyrical Exercise - and we’re right back into it! i don’t even want to take notes i just want to listen. okay one thing i would’ve put eminem on this one tbh.
Girls, Girls, Girls (Part 2) - good. he was just having fun with this one. thoroughly enjoyed tho.
5/5. isn’t it obvious?

Deep Purple In Rock
Deep Purple
don’t really have pre listening notes bc idk anything about this band. i also need to speed through this bc it’s Cowboy Carter day
Speed King - I do love rock. i like motley crue and aerosmith and stuff so this is scratching the itch
Bloodsucker - i think i said this while listening to led zeppelin but i do love a song about a man who loves to love but is a rovin man. classic. the musical screaming is nice.
Child in Time - i could immediately tell this is an anti war song and considering the time of the album, that makes sense. it’s very powerful. and technical. the notes the singer hits! the guitar in this song!! chefs kiss!!
Flight of the Rat - goodbye rat 👋 i like the wobbly nature of this song. they’re long songs but they can take their time bc i don’t feel like mine is being wasted. i’m jammin. okay drum solo!!!
Into the Fire - the main riff of this song sounds familiar to me. not particularly a standout on this album but still a good song. i caught myself nodding my head along. i do like how they end their songs
Living Wreck - not my fav song tbh, maybe my least fav on the album. it’s not bad, still a bop. but i don’t care for the lyrics
Hard Lovin’ Man - i had fun listening to this one but not much to say! i liked the gong halfway through. not their strongest song, but staying true to the rest of the album, the end of this song really sums up the album and i can appreciate that.
overall i’m glad to have been introduced to this band! they’re good rockers. 4/5

AC/DC
pre listening notes: oh more rock! happy rainy april let’s rock and roll. the only song off this album i know is You Shook Me All Night Long but that’s good so.
so i did listen to the album but not like i normally do. bc usually i do these at work or on the way to work but today i did it after work. so i was high. and i just laid in bed and listened to the album. and it was good! it did sound samey a bit from song to song but it didn’t annoy me. i did know back in black, i didn’t realize. the best song on the album by far. i do have to rate it 3/5 because of the things i said before & i think the ac/dc songs i knew going into this (thunderstruck included) represented the band well enough, i didn’t need to listen to a whole album. but i get the hype

Stevie Wonder
Too High - conflicted. might be one of the worst songs to be high & listening to. if you don’t listen to the lyrics, it’s a vibe. but if you do, and you’re any amount of paranoid it’s kind of the worst. I just listened to Mr. Hands by Herbie Hancock right before this because i actually really liked listening to Headhunters and this has a similar groove but Stevie is making my nervous. maybe i just have my own shit to work through!
Visions - take me away, Stevie
Living for the City - super nice. my vibe was a little ruined bc a random guy asked if he could turn me into meditative art. but that isn’t stevie’s fault i can’t hold that against him. okay well now he’s getting arrested now.
Golden Lady - beautiful transition from the last song. beautiful in general
Higher Ground - i know this song! good
Jesus Children of America - uhhh i don’t remember but that means it can’t have been terrible
All in Love if Fair - honestly not one of my favorites. idk why
Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing - he speaks very fluent spanish 🥴
He’s Misstra Know-It-All - not one of my favs either
good album tho. 4/5. probably would be someone else’s 5/5 but it’s not entirely my shit, yk?

Dinosaur Jr.
first off i wanted to say i feel bad not listening to frank sinatra yesterday but it was not the vibe. this band however, was described as indie rock with the Pixies as peers. so i will be listening
Freak Scene - so far, exactly what i feel i was promised. grungy guitar and male voices harmonizing. one music journalist credited this song as inventing the slacker generation. which is wild. love an influential album
No Bones - i like the actual music but the vocals here do feel very men whining to me. there isn’t much actual singing in this song anyway.
They Always come - once again, i love the band sound here with the guitars and drums and all. i don’t mind the singing or lyrics either, i’m just not sure what the song means! i tried looking it up but inconclusive. i like it tho
Yeah We Know - same thoughts as the last song tbh but the drum is more driving.
Let It Ride - i like this one but also don’t have much to say. guitar hits!
Pond Song - ditto before stuff lol
Budge - okay i actually liked this one much more than a lot of the others idk why, younger me would’ve thumbs upped this on my pandora radio
The Post - grungy as all hell. i liked it, kind of sounds like nirvana and smashing pumpkins esque which i love
Don’t - so different from any song or sound so far. i don’t listen to this stuff normally but i don’t hate it? just is out of place on this album. the lyrics are literally just “why don’t you like me” over and over again
Keep The Glove - actually love. fav one on the album i think, summed it up well
i’d give this a 3/5 because it wasn’t quite epic enough to get higher :/ even though i can hear the beginnings of many bands i love in this music, the first one to do it doesn’t mean it’s the best yk. i think this formula was perfected by some later bands

- love the public service announcement. pre-9/11 ass intro
Kill You - not my fav. he sounds like he really hates women lol
Stan - beautiful sample, the beat slaps. did he coin the term “stan” in 2000?? really cool premise for a song & irs a whole story
Who Knew - i guess this is his way of trying to say it’s not his fault what people do after listening to his songs. which like. it isn’t i guess? we still have issues with this concept 24 years later! if a youtuber told their fans to harass someone or shoot a cop and they did it, that person would be cancelled so quick. maybe they should release a fan music video to this song!
Real Slim Shady - omg i love this one!i knew it tho obviously lol
Remember Me - Woahhhhh i like this too, the first verse was the best. eminem’s was the worst actually
Marshal Mathers - idk if i’ve ever listened to an album where an artist ponders their own fame like this before. he said faggot so many times in this song. and mentioned D12
Ken Kaniff - why would you make me listen to this. tried looking up who this guy is and got some answers but also got more confused
Drug Ballad - actually a bop kinda
Bitch Please II - SNOOP! he has 50 guns but he loves them just the same. this is epic
Kim - ahhh the abusive husband song! two songs that mention significant others in a trunk. even though it’s self aware, it’s still hard to listen to
