Harvest
Neil YoungA couple of good classics but the rest of the album doesn't quite live up to them

Mmmm Buttery
It's not American Idiot, but you can see it from here. While I didn't find it as immediately catchy as some of their later stuff, there are a couple of classic hits and I enjoyed the nostalgia
Couldn't bring myself to listen to more than the intros of songs. Not for me
I'd say 4.5 if I could. Long time fan of Billy Joel and this one has some of the classic hits. Only losing slight marks cause he has other versions of some of the songs that I prefer
Appropriately rockin 🤟
Queen are absolute legends. Tried not to compare to A Night at The Opera, but it's hard cause it's one of the all time best albums!
Got bored, started listening to more Hozier instead
Did my best, ended up listening to Foo Fighters instead
Probably better with multiple listens but admittedly only listened once
3.5 really. I enjoyed this, and it had a good sense of humour!
I wouldn't normally listen to much metal, and I appreciate they have better albums, but I can still understand why one would enjoy SOAD if they were more interested in the genre
The right kind of weird for my taste
If you ignore ALL of the lyrics it gets some points for a good beat and general entertainment. Overall pretty repetitive....we won't get into the misogyny
Not bad, but mostly background listening for minor characters in Grease who don't get to hear all the main songs
Relatively tame for Queen, but it's still Queen so a solid 3.5 at least
Relatively bland
Sad songs for sad cowboys
Overall catchy enough and not a bad listen, but not as hit-filled or instantly memorable as some of their counterparts in British pop-rock of a similar era
2.5, good beats but probably better for night clubs than casual listening
Good and catchy, made me wanna dance
Really enjoyed this. Mildly reflective of A Night At The Opera for me, not musically but in terms of the idea of a whole show within an album
A couple of good classics but the rest of the album doesn't quite live up to them
Some cool stuff, some a little intense on the barbells, but overall interestering!
ABBA is always a good idea
3.5-4, I love S&G, and some of the greatest hits are on here, though it doesn't feel quite as consistent as an album as I expected
This was fine. Kinda washed over me
Was worried the rest of the album would be disappointing given how well known Hallelujah is. I was definitely not disappointed! While it is still the most iconic and beautiful song on the album, the rest is still excellent
I mean, one of the absolute greats, hands down. No more that needs saying.
