The Dark Side Of The Moon
Pink Floydi have a long history with this one already
i have a long history with this one already
i don’t think this is the elliot smith album for me
it was cool. one way or another is a cute circus of a song. i just wasn’t in the mood for it but it’s good to have it on my radar
albums like this are the reason i’m doing this challenge. this was completely unique and i don’t know if i would’ve found it otherwise. i listened to it throughout the day and added the whole album.
it really wasn’t as bad as i thought because i do like hiphop. i just really don’t prefer jay z especially as a person. i know he has a legacy but the songs weren’t bad. i may not really return though.
i did like it. i didn’t finish because it got a little redundant to me but i would def go back to finish. it has that classic rock type of vocal style that isn’t bad but it was just registering to me like “oh i’m not in the mood for classic rock lately” but i did find a lot of influence for modern stuff like MGMT. the instrumentals are very cool and innovative. will come back! :)
i’m just not a fan of ballads that sound the same 😔 but the style was good
perfect for what is
i was interested in the sound but it got redundant. was going to be a 3 but as a whole body of work it was a 2 for me.
it felt like i could hear a different band in each song. very cool they came first.
it’s a pretty good album and i listened to it a lot when i was younger. don’t get me wrong. but some of the pop hits are just so repetitive and generic, i do think this is the origin point of taylor making uninspired music chasing hits. some songs are great, it’s polished, but there is better taylor swift music. i give it a 2 for my personal feelings about her discography, i think this is more of a 3
so groovy. nostalgic but innovative. thundercat is one of the niche greats of our time
pretty good, dripping in early 2000’s melancholy, a musical era i don’t want to forget. some of the songs and vocal style got redundant
