Stardust by Willie Nelson
Jul 03 2024

Willie doing covers, trying to be country Sinatra or something. Apparently recorded in 10 days, kinda shows because the music is very flat and boring. He probably has 100's of records, I'm sure there's another one that's better.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Jul 04 2024

This album is 60's as fuck. White English dudes using blues, soul and country music to make songs about love, sex, drugs and serial killers. Good times.

Metallica by Metallica
Jul 05 2024

If the guitars were actually heavy the riffs could be cool I guess, until he starts singing and it just turns to shit. But good job on learning your scales for those terrible solos my dudes. Nothing else matters takes me back to a time where I wish the US and the USSR started bombing each other. At least no one would have to listen to this shit. The song formula always repeating around some stupid scooped mids riff is also shit. Bro, metallica sucks, bunch of assholes, bring back napster, steal their music. This is the first album I have to actually skip tracks,. Fuck metallica.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Jul 08 2024

This is like if someone without any talent made a cover album of the Rolling Stones from memory. Generic rock blues, every second word is baby, all songs ending in fade outs. And what about the lyrics of American girl? Is he saying she makes him come too soon or that she drinks too much? Either way the guy has some shit he needs to solve with this baby he keeps going on about for the whole album.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Jul 09 2024

I don't know shit about Illinois, but I always thought Chicago was full of crazy sport fans that like getting drunk and into fights. Not really a good soundtrack for that. Apparently there is a lot of other interesting history and things going on other then sports. The music is very 2000's indie pop stuff, it's epic and corny. I grew up with stuff like this, so it's very comfortable to listen to.

Jul 10 2024

The first 3 seasons were great. Love michael cera's uncle, pity that he never did anything good afterwards. The netflix seasons are not has good, but I think that's just because they gave them too much freedom with episode length and the format is also bullshit.

The Man Who by Travis
Jul 11 2024

Radiohead as some cool and stuff but they're totally to blame for brit pop emo bullshit of the late 90's. They all sound the same and they all sound like a car commercial or something. Fuck Radiohead, it was not worth it.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Jul 15 2024

This album is peak life years for me. Around this time all I cared about was music, girlfriend and friends. Great times, now I'm an adult with a job and all I care about is making money so I can be free for a few weeks in the year. Great system this capitalism bullshit. Doing great, loving life. The music is also great, they did the rock albums and the the electronic ones and then kind merged them into this. The energetic songs are really great and have those cool beats and snares that were very popular at the time.

Jul 16 2024

I don't know what the point of this is. I guess the music is great and all, but most of it is this weird start and stop to interact with the crowd, that doesn't really work when you are listening to an album. Probably great live, as an album it's like 10 minutes of actual music.

NEU! 75 by Neu!
Jul 17 2024

Great fun ride!

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Jul 24 2024

We have to overcome the social prejudice that heroine is bad for you. Clearly it has the fuel for some of the most influential music ever made!

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jul 25 2024

This is kinda boring. I think his kid died or something, rip and all.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Jul 29 2024

It's fine I guess. Some cool guitars
