Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Oct 10 2024

Just in awe of Duke's skill and the whole band. Love the whoops and hollers from the band as Duke plays that are caught on this live recording. You can feel how much fun Duke, the band, and the audience are having during this show. And the fuckin talent! Goddamn, Duke is a legend.

It was very raw and introspective. Edgy and violent and rough. Glad I tried it, probs pass in future

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Oct 12 2024

I just couldn't do it. I tried but it's just soooo.... Obnoxious to me. His voice... His harmonica... Just not for me dog. I appreciate the newness it gave for the time, and the lyrics in a writing sense. And some of the moments of music is nice, but all together in the same pot just ain't it. Like putting cheddar cheese over brownies. each good, together fucking bad

Blackstar by David Bowie
Oct 13 2024

An absolutely phenomenal album. The thought and artistry displayed is awesome. The way the sax creates like a billowing tragic yet warming sound throughout, the gentle guitar and trumpet dancing in the background. Truly feels like we are floating in space in some moments, death all about, tumbling through time. Even better coming back to it older in life than when it came out. I love it

I can see why so many love it and if I were 19 and tripping it would be insane. But, now, it's just a good psych rock album. Not really for me

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Oct 15 2024

I don't have anything against Tom Petty. Nor do I have anything for Tom Petty. I am neutral lol

Walking Wounded by Everything But The Girl
Oct 16 2024

It was fine! Very 90s sensual

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Oct 17 2024

I really enjoyed this, they have such a keen ability to create a mystical and dense atmosphere and vibe paired with Thom Yorke's almost haunting vocal performance. Videotape is also one of my all time favs

Leftism by Leftfield
