Now we are talking. The album that made my neighbors think that I was scarifying virgins (it was a lot easier to find those back in the 80s) and goats in my house when I was growing up. One of my mom's neighbors actually talked to my parents one afternoon because they were worried about me (I turned out OK, I think). I would blast this almost every day. This is a banger from the beginning 'til the end.

Not my preferred cup of tea but listenable. Has some nice very interesting songs. One of those albums that I will have to be in the mood for to play it again.

I don't say this about many albums, but I really, really HATE this album.

Never been a big fan of U2, but this album has a few songs I like (just the first 3) after that it turns into a meh record for me.

This is one of those albums that have that raw and dirty feel to it. I love it!

Muse is one of those bands that I really have to be in the mood to listen to, but when I do I really enjoy them. That said I still cannot listen to them for too long, they can get a little monotone after awhile. I just listened to this album I'll be OK for the next year if I don't hear another album. A song here and there sure (I have a few sprinkled in my playlists) but not a whole album. To me the album is a solid 4 when in the mood.

Rumours has been one of my favorite albums since I first heard it back in the early 80s. It is a very well recorded album and I use The Chain to test the staging of a system. The harmonies on the album are great and musically it is tight.

Hurt is by far my favorite song in this album. You can feel the pain of that the song evokes in Johnny's voice. The rest of the album is OK.

Perfect Day is the only song that I really liked out of the whole album, but I have never been a huge fan of Lou Reed to begin with. Walk on the Wild Side also OK, but in general the album is not for me.

This album has 2 of my favorite M&P songs Monday, Monday and California Dreamin'. The rest of the album is pretty good. I have always been a fan of the layered harmonies that the M&P produced.

This is just not for me. Usually I can find a redeeming quality on almost any album, but this one I just couldn't sit through. I had to pull the plug half way through the second song.

I get the grittyness in the album, but really not for me, but not horrible.

Great album for a Saturday afternoon listening session. Whiskey on one hand and a nice cigar on the other.

I have listened to this album hundreds of times and I never get tired of it.

I've loved this album since my cousin bought it back in 85-86 and I put it in my grandpa's record player. Great all around guitar work and exquisite bass lines.

Never was a big fan of the Offspring in general, album is OK.

Hysteria is one of my favorite albums. All songs are bangers.

This is just wonderful. Full of great guitars and latin flair.

Everyone is raving about this album, it is OK. Nice vocals and music, but nothing to extraordinary. One thing I liked is that you can not cage it in just one genre. I'll give it 3 stars because I cannot do 1/2 stars otherwise it would be 3.5. Bad? Absolutely not. Great? Again, absolutely not. Was it enjoyable? Yes. Will I listen again? Most probably yes. Usually I do not fall in love with any album the first time I listen, so it merits a second try and see if I can bump that rating... The jury is still out!

Not for me... I would need to do copious amounts of acid, shrooms, or some other illegal hallucinogen to listen to this.

It is a pretty nice classic album. Has 2 of my favorite songs of all time Won't Get Fooled Again and Baba O'Riley.

Really good album. It is so different to everything else that was being released at the time.
