The sort of music I think of if you say 80's pop rock. I can hear the new wave/punk influence in some of the guitar and bass lines in most of the songs. Really still love One Way or Another and Heart of Glass; not so much for Fade Away And Radiate or I'm Gonna Love You Too.
Crazy how much musical influence I can hear in this album echo across all other punk rock bands that came after then. Can totally see why it was revolutionary when it came out.
This album still speaks to me nearly a decade later. Beautifully done album filled with all the feelings I couldn't verbalize about my relationships. I forgot how much I loved this album.

Trippy synth new wave rock and crooning vocals that, while I would enjoy listening to at a cafe or a dinner party, hypnotized me and lulled me to sleep while I was working.
Grew up listening to Public Enemy with my dad. Not a stranger to their body of work or Flava Flav's constant "yeah boye". Solid album.
