I love the dissonance in the piano. The album is a great mix of avant-garde elements and blues rock. No single track is boring, all the songs are easy to listen to. The album art doesn't evoke the sounds of the album, and that dissonance between the art and the sounds works well with dissonance between the various elements of songs.
Quintessential album of 80s dance pop. It has most of the well known Michael Jackson songs on it. Iconic when in person, fun at parties. I don't think it works as an album for listening through. None of the songs are particularly interesting to focus on, but when doing other things, it can be fun to have on.
Phenomenal Album. This is an album that you have to listen to, not just put on in the background. Kendrick uses a lot of complexity in what he does to express himself and it is an enjoyable endeavor start to end.
The album is easy to listen to. Norah Jones's voice is awesome and sweet. But the whole album is very one note. There are different styles of songs, but they are all played in the soft crooner style song at a similar tempo resulting in an album with a few shining stars in a miasma of sameness. I enjoy the songs, but other than the ones that are popular enough to get radio/advertisement play, the album is just meh. I couldn't finish the album.
This albums was short and great. Although the sounds were very cohesive over the whole album, the energy and the complexity made it a fun listening experience. I was a little shocked when it ended however and would have liked more.
This is my favorite album I've listened to so far. It's absolutely the feel of the 80s and dance and weirdness. It's like LCD Soundsystem but 2 decades earlier. A very interesting listen.
This album is great. The development of Led Zeppelin's skills really shows when compared to Led Zeppelin 2.
This album is fun. It was really easy to listen to while doing something else. I've always enjoyed Garbage as a band, but have never taken the time to listen to an album all the way through. Similar to Aladdin Sane in a dissonance of styles, but this is more cohesive. Definitely not an album to sit and listen to, but enjoyable none the less.
Loved it. It's like GOA trance. Put me a productive mood.
Album was very very good. I love the variation in the songs.
I used to listen to this album on CD in my walkman. I don't think there is a weak song on the album. I get by with a little help from my friends pops up in my head all the time. I love the instrumental exploration of the album.
This album is an interesting easy listen. It's great for paying attention to and for letting it ride in the background while you focus on other things. Great vibes for getting shit done.
This is an album that should just grab me, but it doesn't as much as others. I love Al Green, but I struggled to listen to this through.
I liked it. Not something I usually would seek out but it was nice listening.
This album fucking rocks. It is a masterpiece from start to finish. Holy hell.
A thoroughly enjoyable album that sounds so much like the 80s. It is a step down from the previous albums I've listened to. But I do really enjoy Peter Gabriel.
This is like Michael Bublé meets David Bowie. Although kinda monotone across the album. The lyrics and music composition make the album more interesting than Come Away with Me by Nora Jones, which tonally is the most similar album from this list that I've listened to so far.
This album was just simply wonderful. I love Miriam's voice. This, again, isn't the type of music I normally seek out, but just had a blast listening to it while cooking.
The pixies are one of my favorite bands, and while surfer Rosa is a great album, I find it to be the least interesting up to trompe le monde.
I struggled to listen to this. Not because it isn't great, but because I wasn't in a great head space. I recognize the amazing musical talent, but will have to revisit this later.
This is a moody album that just kinda drones on. It's good atmospheric music, but the vocals lack the early XTC that I enjoy and sound too Paul McCartney-esque.

Alice in Chains is a band that I never seek out, but do enjoy listening to. They remind me of Rob Zombie, but they aren't as.... Horror focused. Like the album has horror themes and motifs in the music, but lacks the super natural. It's really good. I just don't know if it is for me. I can see where Godsmack got their influence from.
I enjoyed it. I listen to Bob Marley from time to time, but rarely a full album. I find the music to be good to work to and relax to.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. I f****** love, Tom waits.
I didn't like it as much as 21, but it was still very good.
I hadn't heard any of music outside Imagine. This album felt a lot like Beatles music that was missing something. It was enjoyable and calming. It felt thoughtful and helped me focus.
I didn't enjoy this as much as the fugees.
This album contains some of the most iconic sounds of the era it's from. Quintessential.
This is a very noisy album. Its hard to listen to. Like really listen to because there is so much going on, but I like it. I'm also not in a good mental place right now, which definitely affects my experience.
Very enjoyable. I wish I was in a more thoughtful headspace when listening to it.
I'm only 30 seconds in and I love this.
Really enjoyed this album. It's medieval psychedelic. Really worth a listen.
This is like the easy listening of metal. I'm certain it was innovative in some way. Nothing Else Matters and Enter Sandman are iconic metal songs but the album is just kinda meh in overall feel. I think this feeling has to do with the fact that there has been 3 decades of development within this genre with increasing popularity since this album was released. Overall enjoyable, but feels a bit simple for for the genre overall.
I enjoyed this album and experience. This is the first live album I have encountered on the list. Surrender represents the best of the album. It has a bounce in the bass line that the other songs in their line up are missing that really completes the sounds. Very enjoyable overall.
Very strange and wonderful album. I was measure mixed by some of the songs. Thoroughly enjoyable for very weird reasons. 10/10 highly recommend.
This entire album is smooth and beautiful. It is an entire vibe that needs to be consumed in one sitting with the lyrics sitting in front of you. It is a masterpiece.
It was enjoyable. But didn't really grip me.
This album is a vibe. I enjoyed it, and didnt realize when it ended because Tidal foubd music that perfectly matched the vibe and I was in the zone. I am probably not giving this album its due justice because I listened to while working
Musically very interesting with similar themes throughout, but varied enough to catch the change between songs. The transitions were smooth and unobtrusive. Overall a very good listen.
