Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Apr 15 2025

Great album overall, good flow, lost me a bit towards the end, I felt the first half was better than the second.

Apr 16 2025

It's got some absolute bangers but also some weird shit that I'm not into.

Purple Rain by Prince
Apr 17 2025

This is a really solid album, Prince's talent and vocal range is very apparent. I would happily listen to it again if someone put it on, however it's not an album I would actively reach for.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Apr 18 2025

Listened. Overall a good album, I liked that it was upbeat and there were a few songs I really enjoyed. However I would say it's not my cup of tea as a whole, so not an album I would be actively listening to again, but I'm glad to have listened to it.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Apr 19 2025

I was pleasantly surprised by this album, I hadn't heard of The Band before. I enjoyed the album as a whole, there was a mixture of genres which they did so well and I really liked. I'll be revisiting some of the tracks again I'm sure.

Arrival by ABBA
Apr 20 2025

Lots of songs I already know but I've never listened to the whole album before so good to hear a few new tracks and to hear how the album flows. I enjoyed the album, I would say the well known songs are well known for a reason, very easy to enjoy and sing along to.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Apr 21 2025

This is an album I listened to a lot in my youth, and I still listen to some tracks now. There are some really great songs and re-listening to the whole album I've added a couple more to my current playlist. The album has a distinct sound so flows really well, there is some variety but also quite a few songs that have the same feel and it's a fairly long album, this is why I've only given it 4 stars.

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Apr 23 2025

When I started this album I was not very keen, I can get behind the instrumental parts but the vocals aren't really for me. However it did grow on me as the album progressed and there were a few tracks I enjoyed, but I can't see myself revisiting it as an album or any of the individual tracks.

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Apr 24 2025

I found the whole album a bit too slow and dreary for me, listening to one song from it would probably be fine, I don't think it's bad, just not keen on the whole album in one sitting.

Come Find Yourself by Fun Lovin' Criminals
Apr 25 2025

I enjoyed this album, pretty chilled overall but with some variety, I'll definitely come back to a couple of songs on the album.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Apr 26 2025

I can appreciate the instrumentals and samples but the vocals are not for me. I had to take a break midway through, it was too much for my ears, constant shouting.

Kimono My House by Sparks
Apr 27 2025

I had previously only heard the first song on this album, overall I thought it was a good album, not really my kind of music, but still happy to listen to it.

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Apr 28 2025

A great album from start to finish, chilled and uplifting with lots of depth. Definitely one I will put on again in full with a few tracks regularly appearing on my main playlist.

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Apr 29 2025

A lovely album to have on whilst working. Not my usual vibe, but I appreciated it and would be happy to revisit it in future.

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Apr 30 2025

Lovely chilled upbeat album, so nice to listen to on a sunny morning.

May 01 2025

I enjoyed the album, lots of great energy, but a bit one note with nothing particularly ear catching going on.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
May 02 2025

Didn't really rate this one, it was giving musical vibes, but not a good one.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
May 03 2025

A lovely album to listen to whilst working, impressive improvisation but nothing spectacular.

Moby Grape by Moby Grape
May 04 2025

This was a nice chilled album to listen to on a Sunday morning walk in the sunshine.

Technique by New Order
May 05 2025

Easy to listen to but a bit one note.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
May 06 2025

I don't usually listen to jazz but this was a fun one to listen to whilst cooking dinner, if I was into the genre more I would probably appreciate it more and rate it higher.

May 07 2025

Enjoyed it overall, I've never listened to a while Fatboy Slim album and am definitely more open to it now

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
May 08 2025

I don't listen to RHCP much these days, there are some great songs on this album but plenty I'd have been happy to skip.

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
May 09 2025

Country isn't something I actively listen to, it was quite a nice album overall, the harmonies were good.

May 10 2025

The previous album to this one for me was Gram Parsons, which I didn't mind, however now listening to this album it blows Gram out of the water. Really great storytelling, I could see myself revisiting this one.

Drunk by Thundercat
May 11 2025

Nice chill album to have on in the evening, some tracks I've heard before, I enjoyed hearing them as part of a whole album.

Boy In Da Corner by Dizzee Rascal
May 16 2025

Not really my kind of music but I can appreciate the talent and why it was a big deal for the time it was released.

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
May 17 2025

Overall a nice album to listen to with some classics, I feel like I can't rate the album to highly though due to the covers

L.A. Woman by The Doors
May 18 2025

I enjoyed this one, the blues elements are cool, it's not an album I'm desperate to return to though.

May 20 2025

Preferred the second half to the first, some good tracks. A very long album though, basically 2 albums.
