Hard Again
Muddy Waters'Bad to the Bone' was definitely "inspired" by 'Mannish Boy' from this album... Also, I rly dig 'I Want to Be Loved #2', especially how the instruments complement to round off that groove.

'Kathy's Waltz', 1:17 in, sounds so familiar... Anyway, I liked this one. I've had 'Take Five' in one of my playlists for a while, but I've come to like other tracks off this album more - like 'Three to Get Ready' and 'Blue Rondo à la Turk'. Good overall experience, but probably not a repeated listen for me since it's not fully up my alley.
Made me realize I'm not that into ska or two tone. I like 'Do the Dog', I guess...
Amazing.I loved listening to 'Funeral for a Friend', 'Grey Seal' and 'Dirty Little Girl' for the first time as well. 'Social Disease' too, I mean there's just enough great tracks on here that I can't not like this album. The synths on some of these tracks sound absolutely timeless as well.
Too many interludes. 'Hey Ya' still amazing tho, and I like 'Roses' too
Interesting, especially 'Sagar'
ok
This def inspired some of my fav bands, cus I could hear some familiar sounds such as in 'You'll have to go sideways' - bass line felt IDLES-ey, with the arrangement itself reminding me of Kid A by Radiohead. This is just one example I've listed. Interesting stuff.
Ironic, fun. I liked 'Last night I had a dream' and 'Political science'
'In my life' is amazing
Iggy Mix - 'Gimme Danger' is worth a listen. The mixing on this still feels weird (the Bowie one just sounded worse to me). Sounds like if the Rolling Stones tried to do punk rock
'La Grange' is one of the first few songs I learnt on bass. I liked 'Have you heard?' too. Rest of the album just doesn't connect with me.
