1001 Albums Summary

I vividly remember renting this CD from the library. Great album. Totally different from anything at the time (from what I remember). Many memories.

So much noise. Rap/rock? Some of the beats were pretty good though. I will get much sleep until Brooklyn.

Not sure what all the hype is. Was he 100 years old back in the '70s?

Jamie Foxx is such a great singer! I do love his voice though, and it was nice to hear songs I had never heard before. Good for listening to while cooking or dinner!

Great album. I enjoy her upbeat stuff the most. Blue itself was pretty bad, but fun!

Meh. Heard too much of the Beatles but I suppose nothing is made in a vacuum. Great '60s sound though.

Great album. Love Neils/Crazy Horses guitar style and lyrics. The early grunge is evident on this album. #11

Brings me back to HS. Great album. Piano needs to be brought back to more music.

Classic album. Some bangers, but an album for here and there.

Hate Hair bands. Each person by themselves are very talented, so you would expect the music to be great, but it never is.

Glimpses of something enjoyable, but mostly just nonsense to me on this album. The last song is probably the best.

Classic. "The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older." Great album to drive with all the windows down on a country road. Perfect from start to finish.

I need to revisit this album and band. There was something here, but I didn't get a chance to dive deeply into it. I'm intrigued!

All over the place. Some songs would start good but I felt like the pace would change constantly and I couldn't really keep a good flow.

What a fun album! Brings me back to college and our summer in Boston. A few bangers on here that I could listen to on repeat!

I've really only ever liked one or two songs by the Pixies, and this just reconfirms my feelings. Not for me.

Man this brings me back to 8th grade! Quite literally nothing relatable, but each member has such a distinct sound that I enjoy.

Never really cared for ZZ Top, but the older I get, the more I wanna put on some jorts, a cut off, mow my lawn, and drink an ice cold sixer in my garage! It ain't poetry, but that guitar gets me going.

Some of these are great, and others I wasn't able to really dive into. Truthfully there are only a few albums of his that do it for me, but I appreciate his art.

Woof, I love a handful of The Kinks songs, but this album didn't contain any of them. Difficult to get through.

I understand this is not for everyone and certainly not for every situation, but I really love the '90s techno/house/x vibe of these albums. Give me more!

Really just one song for me. Again, great voices, but some of these songs are just too whimsical for me. We could do with a lot less humming.
