The techno punk sound, years before synth hit regular radio was really cool. At the end, though, most songs sounded the same, and the lead singer was mostly monotone.
Awesome. 2 of the best hits with decent enough songs through the rest of the album
Ozzy fan, but hadn't really delved into Sabbath albums before now. Really cool!!
Phenomenal album
phenomenal and definitely worth the accolades from 1971 and on
Awesome all the way!
respect the awards it won, but not my jam
much like my review of PJ Harvey's "Dry", I ahve to respect the record for its rhythms, rhymes, and hilarious rapping. But ultimately, not at all in my wheelhouse.
Very cool - makes me wish I was in Cuba now, or anywhere in the Caribbean!
very weird album, partially spoken word, partially sung.
1981 classic - brings back great memories of junior high and Skateland in Bismarck, ND. Also have always loved Belinda Carlisle's voice and the skill of the rest of the band.
Absolute balls to the walls classic of rock/heavy metal/blues.
great album - love the energy
Bollywood soundtrack. good, but not what I want to listen to for 40 mins
I already knew the song Groovin', but there are numerous other catchy tunes on this record.
Great bluesy album with, of course, one of Clapton's biggest hits. But while great musically, there were no other standouts.
Proficient musicians, but I've never been able to stand their elevator music style of smooth jazz.
The best reason to do this 1001 albums was to discover bands I don't know or never dug into. Sonic Youth definitely hits that reason.
