Green Onions
Booker T. & The MG'spure early 60's sound. you can see where outcast got some of it's music. very influential.
pure early 60's sound. you can see where outcast got some of it's music. very influential.
It hit my bluegrass / old country spot. Which isn't my go to music. but every now and then I like it.
not my favorite Sabbath album but still good.
One of my favorite Pink Floyd albums
meh, it felt like it was trying to be the cure.
a lot of African beats. but it's very hard to understand what she's saying. Except on the tracks where it's just very repetitive. which has been most of them. Paper Planes is really the only good song off this album. it's not bad. just not my cup of tea. and too repetitive.
his best solo album in my opinion. I prefer his Simon and Garfunkel stuff. it's the stuff of legends. and also one of the best concerts I've ever been too.
again, trying too hard to be like the cure. But it was the 80's
slow diner party music. or take out the vocals and you have shopping muzak.
Classic punk. It's always good in short bursts.
Trying too hard to be an edgier Goo Goo Dolls.
Classic Clapton. or as I call him, the American David Gilmour. whats not to love.
Classic, Classic Classic! Velvety sonic soundscapes that only Jimi could do. The mark of an era. and a shame he was taken away from us at such and early age.
Fancy diner music. But Ray Charles voice is timeless.
typical 80's punk. it's clear by the third song. they only know three chord progressions.
An early Genesis album. but shows why they had staying power. Symphonic virtuosity.
more diner party music. but it's not bad. It's in the same style as Myles Davis Bitches Brew.
Classic rock. but sounds a little repetitive. Good in small doses. but not the best of that era.
The who at their greatest. right off the success of Tommy. Pure innovation.
not bad. Kinda big band, kinda Elvisy, easy listening. good for background focus music.
Classic late 70's early 80's vibe.
Not as good as A Night at the Opera. But it's hard to beat Queen if you're looking for some good old classic rock.
Love Her Madly, LA Woman and Riders on the Storm. Great, great classic American psychedelic era music.
early 90's easy listening musak
Freebird! Freebird! Freebird! what more do you need. it's a classic.
Grunge well before grunge was a thing.
pure early 60's sound. you can see where outcast got some of it's music. very influential.
mixture of punk and new age. Not that good.
MEH
Zappa's always been a very niche musical choice. He was very talented. but just a weirdo.
too slow. I know she is important for the folk movement of the 60's. just not my thing.
Pioneer of the jazz movement. One of his most experimental albums. but I like Someday my Prince will come and Sketches of Spain better.
Good background music.
Bad 60' Flower power easy listening. Austin Powers dance party.
weird ambiance or trance music
Wanna be early beatles
Country automatic no stars.
Country music automatic no stars.
classic U2. their best era. that and Rattle and Hum. or Joshua Tree.
how she became a thing I don't know, other than she was hot back in the day. she sings off key. and is she pop, punk, rap? who knows. I just know it's not for me.
You can't ever go wrong with one of the best songsmiths ever.
What can you say about the boss that hasn't already been said before? Truly unique, America to its core. Honesty in songwriting that is hard to come by. Possibly his best album. all of his music is great. so it's hard to pick the best one.
one hit wonders. and then elevator music.
A jazz version of the black eyed peas
tie between their best album. but, grunge just really hasn't stood up to the test of time.
Otis Redding it timeless. but this was mostly covers. so not my favorite of his records.
