Popular Reviews

If every song was even close to the quality of "Stan," this album would be an easy 5 stars. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. Many songs were hard to listen to, and some parts, such as the "Ken Kaniff-Skit" seemed like genuinely meaningless works of a coked up Eminem trying to create shock factor. A straight minute of sex noises or Eminem repeatedly saying the F slur isn't good quality music, and dragged the album down to me.

Ace of Spades by Motörhead
Aug 11 2025

Fun album, great guitar solos, ignore the lyrics and have a good time. Wouldn’t consider it to be an album you need to listen to before you die, and couldn’t remember any standout bangers, so brought it down to a 3 for me.

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Aug 12 2025

Would give it a 3.5 if I could. Went into the album expecting basic grunge rock vibes, and was surprised by a lot of the Stripes' choices. Dynamic percussion, vocals, and guitar, as well as a surprisingly high usage of the piano added a lot of complexity to the album which took me by surprise many times. I understand why this is considered an album you need to listen to before you die, the only reason I'm not giving it four stars is out of my own personal enjoyment. While there were some standout bangers like Blue Orchid and As Ugly As I seem, I won't see myself listening to the album again anytime soon. Still a great listen though.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 13 2025

Only gave this a full listen so I could say I did and then rate it one star. Felt like you were stuck at a campfire with Bruce Springsteen while he shares some "deep" songs he came up with using his harmonica.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Aug 14 2025

Honestly don't have too much to say about this one. It's a fine album, but nothing special, and wouldn't find myself listening to any of the songs again.

Horses by Patti Smith
Aug 15 2025

More enjoyable album than I expected it to be. "Gloria: In Excelsis Deo" is a banger and very fun to listen to, and the rest of the album is pretty unique and enjoyable. Just a solid album.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Aug 18 2025

Enjoyed this album more than I expected to. The genre isn't really for me still, but I respect this album a lot in terms of production and lyrics, and am glad I took the time to give it a listen.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Aug 19 2025

Pretty great album - pretty dynamic range of songs that felt pretty cohesive and nice to listen to.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Aug 25 2025

Great album, almost no notes. Back to back bangers throughout, only issue was random sex noises in middle -- why was this needed? Besides that, really enjoyable album that I'm excited to relisten to more than once.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Aug 26 2025

Fun album, backed with really strong guitar and percussion. Not many notes, just an overall good time.

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
Aug 27 2025

Fun album, and one I'm excited to give another listen or two. Despite being the soundtrack for a film that doesn't exist, Moss Side Story manages to have some dynamic and interesting storytelling through music.

Gentlemen by The Afghan Whigs
Aug 28 2025

Solid album, and one I enjoyed listening to. The only reason it's getting three stars is that when I went back to review it two days after listening, I had to look it back up to remember what it was. Good album, but a little forgettable.

War by U2
Aug 29 2025

Good album, and one I feel like I need to relisten to a couple more times. Some great protest songs, and just an overall enjoyable album to listen to.

Aja by Steely Dan
Sep 01 2025

Pretty fun album. No notes.

Sep 02 2025

Amazing album, and one that I've already loved before my listen here. Great songwriting, crazy good vocal harmonies, and you can just tell the band had a whole deal of fun with the album.

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Sep 03 2025

Pretty enjoyable album. Don't really have much to say, but overall enjoyable, if a little forgettable.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Sep 04 2025

Enjoyable album, with some pretty interesting instrumentals

Revolver by Beatles
Sep 08 2025

My second favorite Beatles album. Just so so good.

Bad by Michael Jackson
Sep 09 2025

Not my favorite MJ album, but still some good songs on there.

Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers
Sep 10 2025

Really unique album. I've never really listened to electronic music, so this was a new experience for me, but one that I overall enjoyed.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Sep 30 2025

Album I've already listened to many times, and love. Ellington is incredible, and songs like Jeep's Blues are crazy good.
