Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival

Catchy songs. The whole album listened as well I expected to it - good stuff all around. Nothing more to say about CCR that hasn’t been said before.

Wicked Annabelle, village green, picture book. Very British, 60s acid trip feel. Decent album. Good for a re-listen during a summer bbq.

Kid A by Radiohead
Aug 26 2025

This ended up being perfect for a restless night. Listened through it in the early hours of the morning and it felt like I should have been high. Lotta synth, some sad lyrics, and overall it felt otherworldly and dull. Started it over and it put me to sleep - big yawns throughout the album. I probably won’t listen to this again.

Purple Rain by Prince
Aug 28 2025

Prince is an icon, so is this album. Each track is great and I can re-listen anytime and anywhere. It’s amazing!

Violator by Depeche Mode
Aug 29 2025

Crazy this is 35 years old. Still holds up great - classic songs and easy to listen too. Two thumbs up!

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Sep 01 2025

Fun summer album with classic tracks. I can imagine grilling some hot dogs by the pool on a 100+ degree day. Or jamming to this on a CA roadtrip. Either way, very enjoyable.

Play by Moby
Sep 02 2025

Great album! Reminded me of my youth. I remember this being one of those first cds my friends had growing up. Glad I could listen to this again. Will play it again down the road.

Beautiful Freak by Eels
Sep 03 2025

Surprisingly good! I hadn’t heard of Eels before and then I recognized a few songs like ‘my beloved monster’ (thank you Shrek!). I enjoyed the listen and can see myself putting this on again.

The Coral by The Coral
Sep 04 2025

Damn, can’t believe I missed these guys during my youth. They’re awesome. Really fun listen and they have a new fan here.

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Sep 08 2025

Way more fun and engaging than I originally expected. Listened twice. Care of cell 44, rose for Emily, this will be our year, dreaming of you, and butchers tale, were personal favs among others.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Sep 09 2025

Catchy songs. The whole album listened as well I expected to it - good stuff all around. Nothing more to say about CCR that hasn’t been said before.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Sep 10 2025

Love the guitar! Wish I knew what was being said but I can feel the vibes. Very funky and smooth blending of genres. Perfect for a morning bike ride on the coast.

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Sep 11 2025

Two legends making a memorable album. Plastico and Dime were standouts. Great lyrics throughout. I’m ready to dance!

90 by 808 State
Sep 12 2025

A lot happening with each track. I’m not convinced it all flows smoothly enough for me to give it another full listen. Overall, very 90s house party. Never heard of 808 state before but I’m almost certain that somewhere/sometime, I’ve heard these tracks sampled in other songs.

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Sep 15 2025

I’ve always enjoyed this album but honestly, didn’t expect to see it here! Great songs and such a staple of it’s time.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Sep 16 2025

Classic album

Kala by M.I.A.
Sep 17 2025
Mott by Mott The Hoople
Sep 19 2025

Enjoyed several songs throughout the album. Wish I was your mother, honaloochie boogie, Memphis, etc. Had a classic 70s rock feel.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Sep 22 2025

Been a minute since I’ve heard this album. It’s tough for me to keep up with it but it’s still a very enjoyable listen. I still like some of Coltrane’s other records better.

Sep 25 2025

Never heard of this band before and this was a fun, surprising listen! I will listen again.

Sep 26 2025

Good album! Catchy rhythms and easy to nod along too. First time hearing Steve Earle and I will look into him further.

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Sep 29 2025

Nice classics but the sound felt too familiar throughout the record. Will not listen again.

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo
Oct 02 2025

Maybe just wasn’t in the mood for it but I didn’t find it memorable. Next!

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Oct 03 2025

Some good songs in here (I liked shadow boxer) and there’s a blend of different feels/genres. If I could give 2.5 stars, I would.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen

Never listened to Bruce before but I like this album so much I listened to it twice! Don’t know if I’ll check out other albums yet but he’s gone up a notch in my book.

Enjoyable album and good for a run. Will have to listen again to get a better feel.

First time hearing this band. Some fun stand out tracks like tentative decisions and don’t worry about the government.

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar

Amazing album. One of my favorites when it was released. Crazy to see how far he’s come but this album is a classic and hits home for me. Relate-able in so many ways and such good story telling. 5 stars!
