1001 Albums Summary

Twas a fair vibe. Didnt keep all that strong a flow towards the latter half and kind of started to drag. Good music to sleep to but maybe I was just tired. Like a solid 5/10 since I had no strong objections but nothing really stood out to me. 25/08/25

My father has always hated the smashing pumpkins, but before now I had never listened to them. One positive thing I can say about this album is that it has made me understand my father more. 1/10 because why would you ever do this to yourself 26/08/25

Pretty excellent. Jeffy Buckers has a good sounding voice that is also distinctive and the album changes enough to stay engaging whilst keeping a decent flow and consistency. So Real remains a banger, as do others. Solid 9/10 29/08/25

29/08/2026 This album has nothing for me. I don’t have much to say about it and it doesn’t have much to say for itself; our conversation has turned so stale because it is totally boring, down to its core. All its worth is a few catchy hooks it senselessly beats to death against your ears. The singing is characterless, the melodies are sluggish and uninteresting, texture and tone are nowhere to be seen. The few fleeting moments of fun I had with this album were when in the opening moments, and once when I turned the volume up in a desperate bid for anything to change, before in both instances what followed failed to lead anywhere even remotely worthwhile. Im sure this album has plenty of value to someone else, but that person is not me, and as a listener they have grasped some pleasure that totally eludes me.

30/08/2026 I guess this is on here because of its cultural-historical significance. I think I might be just a few decades too late to really dig this the same way.
