When this album came out I was 8. My BFF was black, I am white and we grew up in Brooklyn together. I was often invited to tag along with her and her family to visit friends in BED Stuy (do or die). This album takes me back to those apartments filled with hip black folks with big fros, daishikis, reefer and music like this. It fills my heart to overflow.

Yuck. My punk/hardcore is Bad Brains, Black Flag. This is just obnoxious
