The College Dropout
Kanye WestI don't know how to rate this. Makes me sad despite being good.

Cover art is great. I agree with Crystin who stated, "Album is a 2/5 but the cover is 4/5." Album is real mid.
Really a 4.5 because I just don't like the track Humble Bumble. I liked the rest though. Cover is like a 2/5 though. Who approved this composition?!
Clearly unfinished but it got me with the girlfriend in a comma song. Cover art 3/5 but most points are for it being just one person on the front clearly adding to the "this band broke up" vibe.
Still a beautiful album. I sometimes don't connect Cat Stevens with the actual work so I spent a lot of time going, "Oh yeah! I forgot this was a Cat Stevens song too." 4/5 album cover. Love and illustrated cover and someone understood composition!
Still pretty good. It was the first type of album I'd heard like this from a DJ so has a special place for me. 4/5 cover art.
Still can't believe I've never heard of this guy. Beautiful album. I enjoyed his voice and the instrumentation. Cover 4/5 classy and mood appropriate
The artist name and album name are fire. Wish I liked the vocals more but I found myself wanting the songs to end faster. It's totally fine but just not something I'd go back to. Album cover is quite cool! 5/5
I found myself distracted while listening. It was fine but nothing really stood out to me. A lot of similarities in the tracks so it was hard to tell them apart. Cover 5/5 weird, well composed, good representation of what to expect.
First time hearing this one. Just real good. I'll listen again. Cover 5/5 I am a sucker for a good black and white photo.
This album is still pretty good but maybe didn't age great. The cover of 10 inch disk was hilarious. Cover: 3/5 it's fine. Didn't really grab me. I listened to this while playing Storage Hunters Simulator demo which was a good fit.
Still really enjoy this album and have it iny library. Ilit isn't too to bottom bangers but I can easily listen to this while album and not skip a song. Cover 4/5 it's good and simple.
David Bowie still is amazing. Cover 5/5 love the art
Pretty mid song wise. I still like Song 2 and enjoyed Strange News From Another Star which I don't know if I had heard before. Very Artic Monkeys vibe going on. Cover: 5/5 good composition and very emo style appropriate for the album.
This album starts a little weak to me but ends real strong. The longer I listen the more I enjoyed it. Listen to while making a third eye cats. Very appropriate IMO.
I really like this! Grooved to it while writing and was surprised when half way through the album there were lyrics. Hilarious lyrics too. Will listen again while writing for sure.
I wasn't as familiar than I thought with this album but love some steel guitar.
Iconic for a reason. I enjoyed this album and it was a fast listen. Listened to while starting City Skylines. It fit smoothly and will enjoy the mental connection to The Temptations and the game.
Will this album ever end? I'm not sure anymore. I recognized a few of these songs as often used in movies to be like "this is mariachi music!" It's a little too repetitive for me and I think I need to accept I just don't like trumpet that much. Cool mallet work in a few songs though!
Really enjoyed this! I would say I'd listen again but the dead air from copy write is kinda annoying. Listened to while making Bubba, the third eye cat with wings.
I'm pretty sure the person who mixes this did it in their parents garage. Was pretty bored while listening to it so I think there might be a reason I wasn't familiar with this album. Ended up half hearing it while reading then sat down to listen to it with Garret and started playing on my phone.
I'm surprised so many songs I know by The Doors is from this album. I enjoyed the songs I didn't know too but I will say some aging is showing with Back Door Man as far as meaning goes. Cover: why is one of the members coming out of Morrison's eye?! 2/5
Really liked it overall! Very iconic voice and the guitar work is amazing. Will listen to this again!
Well, that intro didn't age well. The lyrics have me laughing. Halfsies in a baby? I don't know how I'd react to that question. When every song is an exclusive you can't go wrong. I wish Pussy Don't Fail Me Now was less depressing when you listen to all the lyrics. Missy you don't gotta be depress like that! What a chorus though!
Cheap Trick is a band I forget I like so much. First two songs on this album was meh but everything else was real good. Surrender still comes out as my favorite by them.
This one was alright. I liked a lot of the mixing and instruments used but nothing grabbed me except You Can't Stop the Prophet. It was like a while movie pitch in a song.
I like the instrumentation more than I expected but just not a fan of his singing style.
Listened to this while doing some chores around the house and I was grooving along. Never heard of this but it was great!
Did I understand any of the lyrics? Absolutely not, but I think that's fine for this album. I feel like it kinda loses its way near the end of it but the songs are enjoyable especially if you just view Bruce's voice as another instrumental element.
I see why this is an iconic album. First two tracks didn't grab me but then it really got its footing and took off. Will be looking these peeps up again for me.
I've heard local teen garage bands with better lyrics. This might be the worst album so far for me.
I don't know how to rate this. Makes me sad despite being good.
Kinda boring and just not my thing.
I can't remember any of the lyrics, is that a bad sign? I enjoyed the album as background while cleaning. Very Beatles influenced.
This is a guilty pleasure of mine. I sing these songs to myself often when cleaning. It's fun and dumb!
