1001 Albums Summary

Did not like it. The group sounded talented and the instruments were great, but I did not love the music and the sound was not for me. "Search and Destroy" - Enjoyed the sound for the first two minutes but then got tired of the song. "Gimme Danger" - Liked the beginning bit but then I did not enjoy the style of singing past the beginning. "Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell" - The guitar player and instrumental is good but truly I feel as though I am being screeched at. "Penetration" - I really did not enjoy this, the way he is growling penetration is not for me. "Raw Power" - I enjoy the upbeat nature of this with the rough voice, I think it pairs very well but was done before the end. "I Need Somebody" - I honestly really liked the interesting sound in this and felt the song came together very well but was not into it by the end. "Shake Appeal" - I really dislike this. "Death Trip" - Did not really enjoy.

Enjoyed aspects of it. At times I just did not really like the singing. I liked the mix of instrumental songs and moments with songs that had more singing. "Roundabout" - I enjoyed the start and then the end of the middle to the end, but for a brief part in the middle I was not loving it. Ending up liking the song, but thinking it was a bit longer than needed. "Cans and Brahms" - Whimsical. "We Have Heaven" - Too repetitive for me. I didn't like the sound. "South Side of the Sky" - Did not like the singing in the start but enjoyed the end (6 minutes and on) where it picked up. "Five per Cent for Nothing" - Did not like. "Long Distance Runaround" - I just don't like the singing. "The Fish" - I liked the vibe. "Mood for a Day" - Peaceful. I really liked the sound of it. "Heart of the Sunrise" - The start is really cool. I liked this one. "America" - Was a little long at the start but at 2:30 in it picked up. Then I liked it for a bit, but by the end I did not really enjoy it. I like the original more.

Overall did not like it. The singing was not good and I did not really care for the instrumental. "Blackstar" - Went on way too long and I did not enjoy the singing. "'Tis a Pity She Was a Whore" - I just don't like the sound of it or the singing. "Lazarus" - Don't love it but like the sound a lot more than the first two. "Sue (Or In a Season of Crime)" - I like the instrumental but not the singing. "Girl Loves Me" - I do not like. The singing is not for me. "Dollar Days" - I did not like. "I Can't Give Everything Away" - Better than the others I guess.

Some of the beats were good but it's just really not for me. "The Robots" - Funky. Literally went OH when they started speaking. I hear the robot. Beat was good, but just kept repeating "we are the robots." "Spacelab" - I guess the beat was interesting but I did not like it. "Metropolis" - I really don't like this. "The Model" - I just really don't like the sound. "Neon Lights" - No. "The Man Machine" - No.

Some parts sounded nice but overall I didn't enjoy it. "Exp" - I hate this one. "Up From The Skies" - I don't like it. The music is too loud and I don't love how he is singing. "Spanish Castle Magic" - I don't like it. Guitar is amazing though. "Wait Until Tomorrow" - Didn't really like it. "Ain't No Telling" - Didn't really like. "Little Wing" - Didn't really like it. "If 6 Was 9" - No. "You Got Me Floatin'" - No. "Castles Made of Sand" - No. "She's So Fine" - No. "One Rainy Wish" - Like this one more. "Little Miss Lover" - No. "Bold As Love" - No.
