Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Dec 17 2025

One of the best voices that there ever was!

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Dec 18 2025

Love Simon and Garfunkel, but prefer other albums over this one. Some beautiful tunes on here with some beautiful lyrics and interesting cultural reference points. Will always love their voices together.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 21 2025

Some classics on this album. Great revolutionary music, some powerful tunes.

GREY Area by Little Simz
Dec 22 2025

Love this album with some of Simz’ best tunes.

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Dec 24 2025

A bit heavy for me but great musicians

Rio by Duran Duran
Dec 27 2025
Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Dec 30 2025

Love the sound of this album - comforting and unique.

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Jan 03 2026

Probably Tina’s best album, love lots of songs on this. Feels like a little time capsule of 80s music and style. A few covers that I prefer the originals of in here, but can’t deny the classics on this album. She will always be a legend and a queen.

Guero by Beck
Jan 04 2026

Wasn’t my taste but objectively good music. Didn’t love the overall sound. Had never heard of Beck before so was good to be introduced to new music.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Jan 06 2026

Great album - captivating lyrics and a distinct tune to all his songs.

Headquarters by The Monkees
Jan 09 2026

Good album, like the general sound. Nostalgic and fun.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 10 2026

Loved this album and introduced me to more CCR.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Jan 11 2026

Thought this album was a fun, rocky vibe that I’d put in the same category as the Cranberries and the Sundays, maybe just a bit heavier. I wasn’t really in the mood for lots of drums when I listened to it, so think I’ll give it a second listen when I’m ready for something more rocky.

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Jan 13 2026

A technically great album and love the style of Neil Young’s music, but this album confirmed to me that I find his voice too annoying to listen to a lot of the time. This album also leaned more towards rock than the stuff of his that I prefer. There are other Neil Young records I’d put on this list before this one.

Jan 14 2026

Couldn’t even get through his album because it was too harsh to the ears. I love a folky old-timey record as much as the next person, but there was way too much accordion in it for me.

Drunk by Thundercat
Jan 15 2026

Exceptional album. The creativity knows no bounds! Love the mix of sounds and genres he uses. A truly skilled musician and artist.

En-Tact by The Shamen
Jan 22 2026

Would have never usually listened to this but thought it defo suited a night out vibe. Has a very specific club feel and might listen to again when I’m having pre drinks with friends.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Jan 23 2026

Incredible album. Familiar with a few songs on here but loved listening to the whole thing in full. Somewhere between David Bowie and an 80s rock album. Love the vibe, love the energy. Such a sexy and cool album!

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Mar 02 2026

A great album, but prefer the Suburbs

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Mar 03 2026

Nice album but a bit middle of the road

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Mar 05 2026

Love this album. Seeing it live was the best experience

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Mar 06 2026

Amazing album. Not really my sort of thing but I can appreciate the complexity and depth of this album. Great lyricism.
