Moondance by Van Morrison
Dec 28 2025

Good Album, worth the listen. Enjoyed Sax, Piano, Guitar combo. Excellent Bass Riffs. Album very jazzy with some great grooves.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Dec 29 2025

Great record packed with hits! Listened to the extended version with alternate take of "Traveling Band", A live version of "Up and around the bend", and Fantasy Studio recording of "Born on The Bayou", which is a song that is not on the album. Did not care for the opening track. Over All great album. 4 ⭐'s

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Dec 30 2025

Good Album, lots of hits and familiar songs, classic Neil Young.

Doolittle by Pixies
Dec 31 2025

I try to love the Pixies, but whole albums are hard for me to do. The songs overall are just not good. Other than a solid rhythm section with good beats, most the songs sound like total garbage to me honestly. I like enough songs from their catalog to enjoy a "Best Of" record but could probably count those on both hands.

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Jan 01 2026

Didn't need to hear this one before I die. Album did nothing to move me. Very stale, flat, didn't go anywhere. "We got the beat" is the only catchy tune on here, and it's just catchy. No groove, no hooks, 2 stars, the one hit saved it from being a 1 star.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Jan 02 2026

I had been refusing to listen to anything from Jethro Tull based on having a Flute in the band. I thought this would be overwhelming to the sound, believing Flute does not belong in Rock and Roll. However this record surprised . There are some heavy guitar riffs and the guitar work on this album is great. The song "Locomotive Breath" is fantastic, I gave it a second listen. The flute is overbearing on some songs but overall not overwhelming. I would listen to it in again, and will listen to "Locomotive Breath" again as I've added it to my "liked" songs.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 03 2026

Decent record. Had a few hits. Some songs were extended jams with no change ups or direction. Didn't move me much, sounds like thrown together jam sessions through the majority of it.

Elastica by Elastica
Jan 05 2026

Really good stuff, listened beyond this album and they got better! Will definitely check out more of their music!

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Jan 06 2026

Decent album!! Sorry and sweet, has my 2 favorite hits on it, American Girl, and Breakdown. Solid 3 ⭐ for me. Not gonna rush out and buy it but decent record.

B-52's by The B-52's
Jan 07 2026

Album is a complete disaster. The B-52's are one of the worst god damn bands on the planet. Period. End of story. The songs sound like to a riff put on a loop with meaningless babbling, and out of tune attempted at being melodic. Horrible album. Horrible.

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Jan 08 2026

This album started with a banger but turned to slow and jazzy for the remainder of the record. Not into much jazz. Sound was excellent, very melodic, just not my taste.

Peggy Suicide by Julian Cope
Jan 09 2026

This album made me wanna shove glass in my eyes and jump off a building for the first several songs. I'd rather sit in a closet for 24 hours surrounded by buckets of vomit and diarrhea than listen to this garbage again. How can a musician get by with the same 4 measures over and over while repeating the same line? Trash.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Jan 10 2026

Never been a Stones guy, for the most part. This album has heavy blues with a couple of decent Stones classics. I was actually glad this one came along because several of the past few selections were trash. Still, Mick's voice doesn't do it for me....

Jan 11 2026

I love The Beatles, I have several albums but not this one. As a matter of fact I had never listened to this one, just heard several songs from the album. Anything from The Beatles is great.

Elvis Is Back by Elvis Presley
Jan 12 2026

Album #1 that I own that has come come up on here. Didn't have to get too far in just a few weeks. Ya, everything Elvis is awesome. Great album. Great recording, fantastic stereophonic sound coming from RCA Studio B Nashville. Elvis is in his prime. There are a lot of Epic songs but if Elvis is singing it's Majestic!!

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Jan 13 2026

Decent Record, nice grooves, and shredding guitars. Super Stupid is great, fucking great riffs...

Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield
Jan 14 2026

Again, another decent album. Wasn't spectacular, what I would expect from a band with Neil Young in it. No song stuck out, easy listen...

I See You by The xx
Jan 15 2026

The album sucked. End of story. This bowl of shit has no direction, no melody. Boring ass hell. Nobody needs to hear this trash before they die. The only thing that saved this from the fucking Gong was the gal singing has a beautiful voice. She needs to find a songwriter that actually has talent before she throws any smoother off a career away.

Jan 16 2026

Good Album. Started off with a bang, then mellowed out quite a bit... Amazing voice, very nice to listen too. Enjoyed the grooves, gave this record a 2nd listen. A few covers, enjoyed his take.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Jan 17 2026

Listened to this a lot when I was 13. Didn't age well for me. Jammed out 'Money For Nothing'....

Third by Soft Machine
Jan 18 2026

Someone needs to find these master tapes and burn them. Nothing about this was worth hearing. But I am committed to listening to entire albums hoping to find another red great music I've never heard, so I keep an opened mind to the extent of being patient when an album opens up with no apparent direction in hopes it'll get better. Again, another selection did not. I'm only around 25 days in and the majority of choices given to me have been absolute failures....as this had. How any record company could invest money in manufacturing a product not worth wiping your ass with is beyond me. I would give this negative stars id I had the opportunity.

Bert Jansch by Bert Jansch
Jan 19 2026

Not much character to these songs. Just finger picking on a guitar, one song not much different than the next. Not bad at what he does, if you throw a Banjo in the mix here it would improve greatly.

Jan 20 2026

Average Album, Never heard it but the singles released. Pretty boring. Not a fan of U2. Tight band, solid, just boring.

Django Django by Django Django
Jan 21 2026

Was not unbearable, some good grooves. They need to drop the Sound Effects, very distracting.

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Jan 22 2026

Definitely heard this is one before. It's a good album. Great melodies, classic tunes. Never owned it and won't rush out to buy it, but definitely a good listen! Some classic hits on this one.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Jan 23 2026

Good record!! Finally got something I hadn't heard that ended up being a total disaster... Awesome rhythm section, great selection of horns, enjoyed the amount of organ as well as how it fitted in the melody, great band, nice tempos and to top it off fantastic vocals. Really enjoyed this one!

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Jan 24 2026

Good sounding record, ready to listen to. Not into this kind of Jazz. Glad I listened though.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Jan 25 2026

Not bad music. Found the record to be a little boring. I'll have to give it a 2nd listen cause I feel asleep...

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Jan 26 2026

Again, another album that's ok. Eat to listen to. Couple of hits. Will not be running out to buy it.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jan 27 2026

Incredibly boring. I'm m just about over this app. Waste of time, I could listening to something else....

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Jan 28 2026

Not bad. Extra Points for Sweet Inspirations singing back up vocals. Beautiful Voice ,.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Jan 29 2026

Another Album, Cyndi Lauper?? Ugh see if I can make it through!! First song was catchy, then the album got good, very good, several hits. Good record! Finished weak except I enjoyed "He's so unusual". Solid record.

Among The Living by Anthrax
Jan 30 2026

Great album! Never heard it! Shredded from top to bottom!!

Queen II by Queen
Jan 31 2026

Not a good Queen album. Terrible production.

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
Feb 01 2026

Really good album! Started off bangin really enjoyed this. Towards the end are some instrumental tunes that I didn't care for. Bunch of noise, personal preference.

Imagine by John Lennon
Feb 02 2026

Album #2 that I own since starting this. So if course I love it. Classic record. Great tunes.

Boston by Boston
Feb 03 2026

Excellent Album!!!! I have never listened v to this record, but I have heard all but one song. Pretty unbelievable all the hits on this one. Found the CD on Amazon for $5 new, and this will be my first purchase that I was turned on to here. The one dying I had not heard is fantastic. Probably one of the best albums I've ever heard. Absolutely a smash from top to bottom.

Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps
Feb 04 2026

Trash. The only takeaway from this was a cover of Fever, kinda hard to fuck that up. Other than that it sounds like a bunch of Jr. High kids put a band together and found some dork adult loser to sing.

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 05 2026

Decent record. I believe this is the first group I've seen live on this list. I am a Neil Young fan, could listen to him all day, but most music/ band featuring him are just average. His hits are amazing. This record started mediocre and got better.

Run-D.M.C. by Run-D.M.C.
Feb 06 2026

Album was ok. Not into drum machines and all, it wasn't hard to listen to still. Wouldn't shut it off. Not my thing.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Feb 07 2026

Probably take awhile to finish listening to this one. Not digging it much at all. Her voice is pretty annoying, considering she is a Brit trying to sound native New Yorker.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 10 2026

Sounds like one long shitty song. Very boring.

Sulk by The Associates
Feb 11 2026

I don't know if I'll be in able to choke this down. 2 sings in and it's unbearable. Possibly the 1st album I won't finish.

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Feb 13 2026

Good Album, enjoyed it.

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Feb 15 2026

Good music! Good album. Very unique sounding Horn section. I have 'Our House' on 45 but never listened to anything else. That was a mistake I've been missing out.
