sometimes magical and sometimes spinal tap

most of this is pure misery. the last 2 songs are listenable but sonic poop had completely lost me by that point

liked it a lot more than I thought I would but some parts are repetitive and could have a bit more wow factor

adore the vocals and the songwriting is pretty good too but the production is unfortunately lacking for my taste

used to like this album a lot more. actually I think this makes the first album on the list I can say I had already listened to the whole way through, or at least that was already familiar to me. I had listened to it a lot at the gym in the first half of last year and because of that Justice actually scored a distant fourth place of top artists on my spotify wrapped. on a critical revisit during which I’m not super amped up (like I would be while lifting), the album falters quite a lot. It often lacks the virtuosity or variety that should bolster such heavy-handed ideas. At times it’s great (especially the last three songs), but in this album Justice tries to sound bigger, more important, and cooler than they really are. DVNO sucks ass

could reasonably be a 3 but 55 minutes of this?

almost a 5 but the first song is kinda annoying

don’t think I’ll be coming back to it a lot because it’s pretty sad but objectively phenomenal record

some great some literal shit like they play poop noises

would’ve been a 5 without the second and third to last songs

good sure but often annoying or boring and from what i’ve read much stolen. i do understand the appeal but not crazy about it

did not expect to like it this much but like The Wall we have another great white album ruined by a song called Mother

a punk album should make me want to move

ugh i liked it a lot more than i hoped i would as the music is actually quite good but i hate his voice and i hate him so

need more 2s in my distribution and this is a solid fit
