1001 Albums Summary

Little too "dark" for my taste in terms of lyrics, however the instrumental of the songs are quite enjoyable while having a very interesting theme across the ablum. My favorite song in the album would be Add it up.

Fairly competent album, I feel as if many of the songs are quite boring and I believe that many of the songs haven't aged too well, leading to me feeling that this album feels very generic and repetitive. 2/5

Lyrics are quite boring while having music feeling disconnected to the actual lyrics of the song. Not to mention the music itself being quite boring being extremely repetitive. Additionally, the music doesn't really say anything. YAWN BOORRRING 1/5

Audio mixing was awful with very boring instrumentality

Don't like rap, that's about it; the beat throughout the album was nice though. For that alone 2/5

3/5 - A bit dated, however the overall quality of the songs within the albums are quite decent. For example the guitar in "you make me real" is really fun to listen to. The lyrics could be more interesting but are still very suitable for the songs within the album. I just wish the album felt less "static", in other words I wish there was variation in the structure of the album. Other than that though I quite like the album; would I listen to it in my own time? No, but I wouldn't be upset if someone put it on - in fact I would be decently content.
