1001 Albums Summary

It was good. Impactful, interesting lyrics. Favs were High and Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, and (Nice Dream). Personally the more heavy rock elements are not always my cup of tea. I like the sounds of the lead singers voice. He makes lyrics about fake boobs sounds soulful and sad.

interesting album title lol 5 songs in.. and i want an album by women.. please be one next 19 songs on one album is too many horny guys with instruments. it's not the type of music i would be throwing on personally. I don't really like the cadence the lead singer uses. Choppy sing-talking is not pleasant to me. I like the instrumentals on song of the songs.

too bad Kanye is a Nazi now. It's a great album. Insightful, funny and fun to listen to. I see the album theme throughout the songs. He made rap more interesting by taking risks that may have seemed corny and silly to others. He confidently stood out. Through the Wire shows Kanye's perseverance in making his dreams come true.. "spit my soul through the wire" Last Call is a cool way to wrap up the album and share his story. unconventional but it makes ppl relate more to the artist.

fun intro. yell singing.. oh boy self esteem. this that white boy grunge that goes hard. hit the vowel sounds with a vengeance. Why does the song Smash have 7 minutes of dead air?

stressful and unpleasant “punk” “hardcore” are not words i would use to describe my taste in music when reading the lyrics, it’s a strong message. classic youth revolt. establishing personhood. shock value. hard r viva las vegas cover is funny i like their messages just not the best way to get to me personally

2nd kanye album and im only like 10 albums in. i know this album. i haven’t heard every song on it though. he makes great music..

i think this is about my 12th album and there hasn’t been one women involved… so many men. as for this album… it sounds cool. i like the album cover. innovative and interesting sounds the gynecologist song is gross and misogynistic.

25 song album… damn it's fun.. shes a party girl she can really sing but i think 80s music is hit or miss with me

90s indie grunge... cool. haven't heard of pavement. they rock but tv music didn’t speak deeply to me to tickle my fancy

really loved it. listened to it while walking around Lexington in a 62 degree, sunny February day while snow hastily melted. the last song, European Son was a bit tough to get through but still 5 stars

fun but a couple songs got annoying

cinematic vibes. the rhythmic sounds of some of the songs made me sleepy. album art is cool.

most 80s album ever. some of the songs had a weird predator vibe to them.... savior complex... just an unpleasant vibe. a controlling man who thinks too highly of himself. i liked the first song on the album but a lot of the other songs were unpleasant to listen to.. just annoying repetition that makes you want to change the song.

daring, biting, truthful and fun. love the samples they use. an album that had a real cultural impact that's lasting
