My optimism soon crashed with this album. I could hear the Bowie influence but not in a good way
Pleasant enough.
I was optimistic. I loved their cover of I don’t want to talk about it and the tones of her voice in the song Protection are soothing and transcendent. However, I believe they went in too quickly with I don’t want to talk about it and from there, I journeyed back to the 80s, as a child lost in Owen Owen. It became boring and the same
Nothing outstanding. The first song was good. Again, it went down hill from there and felt like a continuation from the album the day before.
Ok as background music but it’s not something I would actively seek out to listen again
I can’t deny that the Rolling Stones are an iconic band and I do appreciate that. However, as much as I try, I just can’t get into them that much.
Pleasant enough
Really enjoyed this album.
Beautiful work with lots of soft tones and Melodie’s
I was never really a fan. I went in feeling optimistic but nothing really stood out for me. Elevator music with lyrics.
Chaos for my ears
It was ok to have on in the background as I drove home. Nothing too offensive and it washed over just nice
Iron Butterfly - a duff version of The Doors. Similar psychedelic sounds in places but less personality.
Sounds like the soundtrack to a cheesy 80’s Tom Cruise film, that wouldn’t feel out of place playing in an American diner, as one of Quentin Tarantino’s characters walked in.
Easy listen. Good atmospheric rhythms to fall asleep to!
Buena Vista Social Club feels warm, relaxed and full of life, with beautiful rhythms that instantly put you in a laid-back pleasant mood. It’s the kind of album that makes you feel like you’re sitting in a sunny bar in Spain, listening to great musicians just enjoying playing together. 🎶☀️ Added to my album list ❤️!
I heard it from my friends about the things you said
I heard it from my friends about the things you said
But they know me better than that
They know me better than that
They know my weaknesses (I never tried to hide them)
They know my weaknesses (I never denied them)

How can a view become so twisted?
How can a view become so twisted?
They know my weaknesses (I never tried to hide them)
They know my weaknesses (you tried them)
I get so carried away
You brought me down to earth
I thought we had something precious
Now I know what it's worth
I heard it from my friends about the things you said
I heard it from my friends about the things you said
I've never felt so disappointed
Never felt so disappointed
They know my weaknesses (I never tried to hide them)
They know my weaknesses (thought that you liked them)
They know me better than that
Harm of Will by Björk is a quiet, reflective track from Vespertine that feels like an honest admission about the unintended harm love and longing can cause. It sits in that fragile space between tenderness and regret, where someone recognises that even deeply felt intentions can leave marks on another person.
Could not connect with this Radiohead album.
Don’t ever say the word synchronicity again…ever….this album was awful. The fact that we’re allowed to even rate it a one, shows the respect the producer of this app has for artists and albums of all kinds.
Not my bag
Urgh… that’s is all
Ahhh the nostalgia. Some great songs on this album, with some great lyrics but I still say 20 songs is excessive for an album.
It wasn’t AS offensive but still not an album I would choose to listen to before I die
I assume there’s more to come….
Not bad at all. Quite catchy
