1001 Albums Summary

-fun and funky -unique voice -surely not better than Graceland, but still good

- too British - didn’t love it or hate it - probably wouldn’t listen again on purpose

- I forgot how awesome Adele is - she has such a unique voice and I think it stays fairly consistent in this album - she yearned before it was popular - so many hits on here and they should be hits

-she always getting cheated on or is poor as a child -I can appreciate the simplicity of the lyrics and instrumentals in this album, it really brings out her voice -probably not her best album, but still fun -pretty short album

-not my usual type of music but still a cool album -not great for listening to at work, and I can’t think of many other situations where I would go out of my way to listen to -

-I really like some songs and was not feeling others -I want to pin down who the main guy’s voice sounds like -I might give it another listen

-definitely liked this more than The Chronic -lots of variety between songs -he might dislike women -still a fun listen overall

-definitely not my favorite Metallica album -the guitar sounded the same for every song

-David Bowie gets it -I am imagining the guy from labyrinth singing all of these and it’s awesome -idk what he is talking about, but it’s real -the songs in the middle without lyrics are so nice -the flow of the songs throughout the album is super cool, but I wish the last song also didn’t have lyrics

-I feel like masters of war is a very powerful song and I wonder which war it is about, and if it is from Bob Dylan’s personal experience or what -his sillier songs give me John Prine vibes, like what is he talking about -what a weirdo -I like this album quite a bit though

-better of the hip hop so far -still felt weird to listen to at work but less so -lots of variety in this album which was cool -overall pretty good listen

-not my favorite flaming lips album -nothing of note to really say about it -it was fine background noise

-this is such a cool album -I keep imagining the imagery in the movie when listening to this which adds a lot in my opinion -I need to look into the background behind this album again because that also adds a lot

-a lot noisier than expected -I feel like it gave almost a background to Where is My Mind that I didn’t have before since I haven’t head any of the other songs on the album -I don’t know if this will be a re-listen for me though

-a fun work album! -some of the beats are carseatheadrest-esque -I feel like there is lots of variety while keeping a uniqueness to it -I would listen again

-I like the guitar in the cover and I like the guitar in the album -he kind of has a creep voice but I still enjoyed it -would listen again -good background noise at work

-they don’t make loser music like they used to -the end of Prove My Love sounds like another song that I can’t place right now -overall a fun album

-the songs flowed into each other very well and I didn’t notice when one ended and the other started -it was great background music -would listen again

-so far it is sounding like typical 80s rock -hard to handle is a fun song -I enjoyed it, but not much to say

-the vibe of this album is exactly what I think of when I think of The Smashing Pumpkins -I enjoyed it, but don’t have specific thoughts right now -would probably listen again

-tired of British bands from the 70s and 80s -why put a live album on here?? -I like My Generation usually but why is it so long? and most of the rest of the album is just meh

-he is writing love songs but he gets pretty extreme about it, almost to the point of being scary -he has a nice voice :) -I can see why parents in the 60s didn’t like him or his lyrics -I like the overall vibe, very fun

- awful lyrics - Butterflies and High Horse are okay in the right context - not my favorite

- Beach Boys esque with some 70s influence which is awesome - fun album - probably would listen again
