Parachutes by Coldplay

I somehow managed to dodge coldplay for this long so I don't really have a say on the whole hate going on. The song yellow is so mediocre though why is that their most listened song. (my rating is rather 3.5 stars but we don't have that sigh)

cover notes: reminds me of family albums. big fan of the dog they've got there. album notes: .....I'm still thinking about family albums

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Feb 06 2026

most songs in this really felt like diving into the mindscape of a villainous queen of a fairytale story. incredible experience. would listen to again

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Feb 07 2026

i don't care who the beatles sends it's not gonna make me listen to any of their music

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Feb 08 2026

reviews say it delivers less than it promises but it was rather humble honestly. makes good road trip music too.

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Feb 09 2026

yeah that cover looks like it came straight up from the underground. as for the music. not my cup of tea I fear. it's too nothingburger of an album

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 13 2026

haven't been the same since I learned "despite all my rage" meme comes from here. it's also the most memorable thing about this whole 2 hour album honestly

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Feb 19 2026

I can't tell if it's because my brain is a mush right now but this sounds so hilarious to me. unironically a good time

California by American Music Club
Feb 20 2026

this is pretty much just the smiths without the glaze.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Feb 21 2026

the guy had lots to say but I was doing something else in the meanwhile so I missed that. can easily say it makes good background music at least

Illmatic by Nas
Feb 22 2026

been wanting to get more into the hip hop scene and this was both interesting and fun to listen to. no wonder it's critically acclaimed, the songs flow by

Beyond Skin by Nitin Sawhney
Feb 23 2026

it's definitely not the worst but this also is not it. almost reads like an insult to the every genres I like here sigh

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Mar 02 2026

what could have this guy possibly done to get 7 albums on this list. am I missing something because there's nothing happening that I can miss so

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Mar 03 2026

first of many radiohead albums here and this one is partially a flop in my book. at this point they were shifting in their music style but they were on the verge of flying off the cliff also. still has some goods though.

Moon Safari by Air
Mar 07 2026

this is the most peaceful I've felt this week. god damn it french. do yall think if the bassline of new star in the sky is single
