1001 Albums Summary

Wonderful to listen to all the way through.

this is hard bc there are good songs on this album but not great in the scope of Beatles songs… and then there are a few can misses.

I liked organ donor and why hip-hop sucks in 96 was funny. This album was proof that this experience will include albums that are important for reasons other than pure enjoyability. It did not suffer from lack of sounds.

There are so many special songs to me on this album but I would just go for those and probably not play the whole thing very often… I feel like there’s so much lore and imagery to explore in this and it’s a work of art but it’s also a lot of effort to listen to, like poetry. But tread water and a little bit of soap and three is a magic number are bangersssss

Felt mountain? More like felt longer than 39 minutes mountain! I did like that it was a little spooky sometimes

I didn’t like this quite as much as college drop out. The themes felt a little more negative. But I still love runaway and Nicki’s verse on monster is unmatched

I kinda liked the vibe at the beginning but then it became more of a noise album. I can’t see myself listening to any of this again.

Peak, perfect Dylan. All my favorites on one album. I listened all weekend

I like coffee and a starfish a lot, but the rest is a lot of talk signing in a creepy way about sex with long instrumentals :///

A fun listen but I probably won’t seek it out again beyond the first song. I saw that movie a long time ago and did not clock the music being so good lol

I’m torn because it was fun to listen to and I liked what’s the reason I’m not pleasing you a lot but I probably won’t think to put this on again…

I don’t mind a little Beck but this isn’t his best work. He’s like David Bowie’s was less talented cousin who makes less fun songs

The guitar slays the house down boots but the lead singer is so off putting to me I can’t get fully on board

I liked this!! Daydreaming and Be Thankful for What You’ve Got were my faves

I think I would have appreciated this more if I could have listened to it driving around on a warm summer day. It was not great feeding the baby music (save for old pervert, obviously)

I wish I could give 3.5! I loooove the song Tusk and Sara, and I enjoyed listening to the rest.

I knew I was gonna like it but I was surprised how much I loved it! I didn’t know the Police were so political (lol). Walking in their footsteps was my fave
