1001 Albums Summary

It’s a larger than life kind of album. The back half could use some editing but the front half is so dynamic. So many classic, timeless moments.

It’s effortlessly cool and floaty. It’s not an album that grabs you by the throat but rather dissolves into the air around you. Claire, it’s French!

You can practically hear Bowie leaping out of the album. There are some high points like The Passenger and Lust for Life but for the most part it gets a “just fine” from me. Perhaps a little boring?

I have no idea what’s being said but I still feel like I understand it. Incredible guitar vibes. I really enjoyed this.

There are many other better albums by the Beatles in terms of musicality but the presence of Something, Here Comes the Sun, and Come Together have always saved this one for me. I’ve also always loved the sequence of the last three tracks knowing this was the last album they recorded together.

Incredible record, immaculate vibes. Could do with a little less fellatio but hey, who am I to complain.

There was some stuff here i really enjoyed but I think it was way too long. Good album to play chess to.

Immaculate, no notes

I’m such a vocals and lyrics kind of person that music like this just doesn’t personally resonate as much as it probably does for others. I can appreciate the unique sound but I wouldn’t come back to listen to it again.

I think this is one of those albums that people love because they feel nostalgic about it. Like, you had to be there to get it. I wasn’t there, so i clearly don’t get it.

It all sounds like it could be the back track to another Toy Story movie. I mean it’s fine but i wasn’t riveted
