i will be revisiting this album this week because to be honest i didn't give it my best attention
Really great. I totally get what everyone has been on about
as a complete body of work this one didn't exactly light me up but i respect the whole thing happening here
Not the album for me and THAT'S OKAY! Listening to this Classic Rock was sooooo on the nose for the era's whole thing that it almost seemed like musical theater....we were verging on camp
i feel criminal not putting a 5 here but i'm speaking my truth
struggling to imagine a worse album to listen to while studying. no continuity of sound between songs. felt like anything could happen at any moment. at a certain point i think you have to be impressed that you're ENTIRELY on your toes? anyways no i did not like this album at ALL. in fact i think it worsened my acetaminophen induced nausea and also gave me a headache. can't say i've ever had such a reaction to an album before! and get this i DID listen all the way through!
perfectly pleasant. i wasn't paying the most amount of attention to this but also nothing made me stop and listen on purpose.....for whatever that's worth. but i think it was on me
yea
this does it for me and also i know it will continue to do it for me more moving forward
i know she's a genius i just couldn't enjoy listening. im so sorry
atmospheric time capsule of an album. totally lovely
#Not4Me cool to be able to now name and place smoke on the water though!
exactly as expected. they're obviously excellent my rating aside
a few songs so good i bumped the score a star
i was not in the right setting or (dare i say, even) mental space for this. i totalllly get it though like totally
i think i'm going to move this book way up on my reading list so i can watch the movie so i can appreciate this even more. i considered even a five star drop here ... wonder if i can revisit this review later!?
absolutely
joaannnieeeeeeeee. need to relisten sorry
Much more B-52s than I had been expecting, though in re-listening to We Got The Beat (maybe for the first full time? I'm not sure) I totally should have been expecting that
Yea that's fckn awesome
Kind of waited for it to end tbh. Crazy how much better i like the songs i know from breakfast in america (which i have now learned was put out after the band changed members and who played what and such)
Probably deserves a three or higher im just going through something musically
LOVED some of these songs and deeply wished i wasn't listening to some of the others so i guess im trying to split the difference with this one. but rounding down feels more true to me than up so
i mean wow
yea that's five stars
