Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
May 06 2026

grace knocks those boys outta the water. maybe too sleepy to give this one a proper evaluation. appreciated the production

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
May 07 2026

In theory I should love this. But Mr. Yusuf's voice doesn't do much for me. Espescially with that reverb effect. 🤮 these songs are floating right past me. a stranger on an innertube humming to themselves. do like "into white" and "father and son" wish there was more vocal harmonies

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
May 08 2026

When I first saw the album I thought I was in for a cheesy easy listening. Very happy to be wrong. It is easy listening but only because the instrumentation, the voices, and lyrics all feel so seamless and whole. Love that it straddles the line of being overtly political without feeling preachy.

May 11 2026

Lush production and clever lyricism. Kanye at his best. Drenched in misogyny. The most potent part of the album to me was the final Last Poets sample. A group that's still so insanely relevant to what this country is experiencing.

Queen II by Queen
May 12 2026

this is doing nothin for me ogre battle p fun 2nd half definitely better but they're still kinda sliding off me. it was fine

On The Beach by Neil Young
May 13 2026

I dunno why but I strongly suspect neil young fans are total dorkwads. I liked it

The Modern Lovers by The Modern Lovers
May 14 2026

I love Jonathan Richman and his lovers

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
May 15 2026

Fun catchy riffs How do people talk about music

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
May 18 2026

preferred natty dread

Rubber Soul by Beatles
May 19 2026

beatles r gud whoulda thunk it

May 20 2026

based on the title and subject matter was expecting this to be odder and more aggressive. it's kind of stumbling around in the first few tracks occasionally bumping into something with energy but never grasping it. not hating it but it doesn't have the j u i c e

Pink Flag by Wire
May 21 2026

probably wont come back to this much. maybe discovering i'm not a huge punk fan. that being said, it's crunchy sludgy and fun! pretty astounding that it came out in '77.

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
May 22 2026

i like frank's voice but don't find it all that emotionally affecting the accompanying band tho, is tops daddy-o

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
May 26 2026

Started off strong but am finding it increasingly cheesy and overwrought. There's something about this production and instrumentation that ain't doing it for me. Coconut is painful. Why do I hate the way all these instruments sound? Appropriately named album.

So by Peter Gabriel
May 27 2026

this slaps Its so weird to rate these cus im only listening 1x before rendering judgment. Is this actually a 5 star? Who knows! But this is a lot of fun and I'll be relistening

Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro
May 28 2026

this is gud - went down smoooth could easily be plopped into any tony hawk ost what's up with this band's politics btw? shilling crypto...obviously not a great name... but then you sign an anti-facist pledge to get in their fan club.

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Jun 01 2026

this rips how is the sound quality so good

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jun 02 2026

this is maybe 2nd or 3rd listen and it obviously rocks. the way it morphs from rpunch riff to punchy riff expanding and falling. it's gud

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Jun 03 2026

voice fits so well. dont love all the tracks but some pleasant bangers throughout this guys voice reminds me of death cab man what's his voice

Headquarters by The Monkees
Jun 04 2026

whimsy city. it's cute but also feels busy in a clumsy way at times prefer the 2nd half

John Prine by John Prine
Jun 05 2026

Didn't listen for this project cus I already play it once every few months anyway. Great tunes excellent storytelling

Jun 08 2026

this is my first time listening to a nirvana project in full. maybe its cus i'm so friggin sleepy but i am unimpressed. i hate this guitar tone, so thin and plinky. favorite song so far was a bowie cover. i dont get it

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Jun 10 2026

Love early Cohen. Never knew he had a synth era. At first the cheese was overwhelming but there are some solid tunes here. I'm Your Man and Take this Waltz rock. Jazz Police is deranged. It's not my favorite of his but I admire him taking a big artistic swing in changing his sound so drastically.

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Jun 11 2026

feels less like an album to listen to casually and more of something to you know experience and worship alongside. repetitive and trance like. probably not something i'll return to often but glad to have listened to it.

Boston by Boston
Jun 12 2026

it's just a fun time

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Jun 15 2026

uh been a few days but remember liking it

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Jun 17 2026

not for me, thanks

Illmatic by Nas
Jun 18 2026

Maybe 2nd or 3rd time listening. Leaves me a little cold but some undeniable bangers

Play by Moby
Jun 19 2026

i like the ones that evoke an underwater donkey kong country level less enjoying the moby spoken word bits

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Jun 22 2026

love the gar love the simo

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jun 23 2026

admire it but not for me

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Jun 24 2026

If I could listen to this on its own merit its an easy 5 stars. Sometimes Im able to enjoy art from monsters. Maybe its because his sanitized biopic just released. But this go around I actually couldnt get past the 3rd song cus I kept thinking that I'm just listening to a pedophile

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Jun 25 2026

this was cute. and i dunno if i'm selling it short by labeling it as such. will return

Sunshine Hit Me by The Bees
Jun 26 2026

perfectly cromulent but not particularly exciting

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jun 30 2026

have i become smiths pilled?

American Beauty by Grateful Dead
Jul 01 2026

there's some nice bass playing. maybe it's just cus i'm in a foul mood but i'm finding this pretty annoying. also realizing that lindsey in freaks and geeks starts the album on the b side. funny!

Tragic Songs of Life by The Louvin Brothers
Jul 02 2026

beautiful singing damn some of this is so dark and violent

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Jul 03 2026

i don't hate the vocals but i like the instrumentals so much that i wish the vocals weren't there 3 songs left and i'm pretty ready for this to be over maybe if i was on a roadtrip and not stuck in the office this would be higher

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Jul 07 2026

giving this a 2 listening to it in a drab office building and a 4 on the dance floor. god im depressed.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jul 08 2026

outside of 1 or 2 tracks this just kinda flew in and flew out it's fine

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jul 09 2026

that was beautiful over too soon will absolutely be revisiting

Jul 10 2026

i can think of at least 4 things wrong with that title. not digging this. a song called sex dwarf shouldn't be this bad. or maybe it's appropriately named idk. dnf

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 14 2026

All the songs are pretty similar sonically. But its a song I like.

Infected by The The
Jul 15 2026

30 seconds in and i don't know about this chief it's trying? to do interesting things which i appreciate in theory. but i'm mostly annoyed dnf with 2 tracks left to go. no thanks

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jul 24 2026

i really love these heavy piano tracks

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 28 2026

p good! dont understand the insane love

Two Dancers by Wild Beasts
Jul 30 2026

i like his voice. the band is ok

Imagine by John Lennon
Jul 31 2026

Risque by CHIC
Aug 07 2026

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Aug 11 2026

no thanks came up with an open mind but not a fan. didn't like the bass playing, her singing, or the tunes.
