1001 Albums Summary

Sweet as metal, can't wait to dig in more on future listens!

really sick and I think it would have blown my mind in 1978 but listening for the first time in 2026 it's definitely suffering from its own success - kept reminding me how badass it was the first time i heard daft punk. That being said, i feel like this might actually be killer on future listens.

Oh hell yes lol

what a hoot!

absolutely sick electronic, can't believe id never heard of this!

Rlly gas but not for me! Like the coolest musical sound track ever?

This feels like the standard for this website - its undeniably goodass rock music that i enjoy quite a bit but dont have a ton of feelings about.

THATS WHATS UP Absolutely electric live record, and some truly HOT STUFF

Great change of pace from the other records here, but got a little samey in the middle. Wonderful opener

You already know

Insane freaky synthy rock fun - i will DEFINITELY be coming back to this

Feels like an outsider art michael jackson in a way i can't describe

Dark, weird, textured pop

you know, it's fine

propulsive and fun!

really badass stuff tho its lost some edge and weight with age imo

Interesting, dark, dischordant. Should probably actually listen to VU some time

insane pop production absolutely never lets off on this one. Tons of fun little sounds that really scratch an itch for me. Absolute blast, can't believe I've never listened through before.

Warm tone with some wild vocals, super fun

Well composed but i just Cannot Care about a lot of this! Maybe 15 years ago I could have listened to a song called "Everything Reminds me of her" but i feel like age and internet exposure have just slammed that door shut. Further, it's just too long!!! It's a weird combo of lightweight, poppy and sad that just does not work on the epic, double-length album scale we're working with here.

Very fun, well composed, just a little freak. Let me roll It in particular has such a messed up freaky little lick in it i love
