Had one to two songs that I felt weren't too bad, but overall this album just wasn't my vibe. Grunge is very hit or miss for me.

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Jun 03 2026

Super funky I loved it. Homeboy was using every percussion instrument at his disposal in some songs and it worked. Add in that funky guitar and sax and I'm a happy camper.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Jun 04 2026

Have only ever listened to the song 'Take Me Out' before (which is still amazing btw). The album was solid, made me want to be an alt kid in London, skateboarding and shit.

The Cars by The Cars
Jun 05 2026

Good Times Roll, Just What I Needed, and Bye Bye Love are songs I've loved for a long time (thank you dad for the Classic Rock education). I was actually so hype to see this album as the next pick. The songs on this stay *chefs kiss* so good, and unironically are the perfect driving songs ( I expect nothing less from a band called The Cars).

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Jun 08 2026

Conflicted because I loved the instrumentals on this album, but lyrically this fell flat. Pretty mid-album, which is pretty surprising because I typically love Rock. -S Tier- Gimme All Your Lovin' -A Tier- Sharp Dressed Man -B Tier- I Got the Six -C Tier- Got me Under Pressure Legs Bad Girl -D Tier- I Need You Tonight Thug If I Could Only Flag Her Down -F Tier- TV Dinners

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jun 09 2026

Listen this album would slap on a beach, but in the Suburbs in VA while working? Not as much. Don't get me wrong it's not bad at all, a vibe to be sure. Just not my preferred genre for everyday. -S Tier- -A Tier- No Woman No Cry So Jah S'eh -B Tier- Lively Up Yourself -C Tier- Them Belly Full (But We Hungry) Rebel Music (3 O'clock Roadblock) Natty Dread Revolution -D Tier- Bend Down Low Talkin' Blues Am-A-Do -F Tier-

Vivid by Living Colour
Jun 10 2026

The way Cult of Personality just transported me to playing guitar hero legends of rock in the early 2000's is crazy.

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Jun 12 2026

Vibing with the general sound, although most songs after the first one mush into one for me. Side note: I stared at this cover way too long and the explosion started to look more and more like a chicken nugget the longer I looked...just thought y'all just should know

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jun 15 2026

Black Hole Sun and Spoonman stay my favorites on this album, but not a bad one at all!

Jun 16 2026

Had one to two songs that I felt weren't too bad, but overall this album just wasn't my vibe. Grunge is very hit or miss for me.

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Jun 17 2026

Really liked this album more than anticipated. Maybe it's because we've been on a Rock kick lately but was nice to see something a bit different. Decided to listen to this on my nicer headphones and it was totally worth it to hear more of the gorgeous guitar and strings in the background. This on a rainy day with some coffee in hand would slap.

Abraxas by Santana
Jun 18 2026

Another edition of this album contains a Guitar Hero song that I was obsessed with. Black Magic Woman was my best song on expert mode. Cover art for this album is so cool. Also the fusion of Latin and Rock music just works.

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Jun 19 2026

It's a bit mid, innit bruv?

Jun 22 2026

In a way Johnny's voice isn't fantastic in and of itself but is very comforting to listen to. Feels like a grandfather sharing a story or something. Can't say this is one I would listen to on repeat, but It wasn't too bad and I enjoyed the selection of covers as well.

War by U2
Jun 23 2026

Always hear people shitting on U2 but I actually quite like their music. Refugees is the one song on this album that my dad played the most, and thus is my favorite of the pack.

Smash by The Offspring
Jun 26 2026

Felt like an avengers movie in that if you waited till after the credits of the last song (aka the minutes of silence) there was a little melody in the end.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Jun 29 2026

My dad was going to be VERY disappointed if I didn't give this one a 5 stars. That being said I would have done it anyways, I really like how the album feels cohesive while also having songs that sound unique from one another. Also after a string of 3 star rock albums for me this one definitely stood apart from the pack.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Jun 30 2026

WOAH IT'S NOT A ROCK ALBUM GUYS (I jest I do like rock albums, we've just had a back to back string of them). Like all calm sounding Jazz, it reminds me of the Charlie Brown Albums. My one wish is that it was raining outside when I was listening to this album. Oh and now for my obligatory movie quote that I must add " Ya Like Jazz?"

Very by Pet Shop Boys
Jul 01 2026

I like their song 'West End Girls'. Unfortunately that song was not on this album. Don't get my wrong I dig a good 80's vibe, I just thought as a whole the album wasn't super great.

Gold by Ryan Adams
Jul 03 2026
Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jul 08 2026

A perfect album, no notes. Every song is certified fresh.

Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Jul 09 2026

This one came out of nowhere. I really loved how atmospheric it was. Gave me a bit of Enya mixed with Imogen Heaps vibes. Really enjoyed. Was enhanced by how gloomy it's been outside lately

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Jul 10 2026

I think I would have liked this more if it had a different lead singer.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Jul 13 2026
So by Peter Gabriel
Jul 20 2026

Peter Gabriel is the GOAT. Also In Your Eyes is my favorite song, could play it on repeat. So good

Tapestry by Carole King
Jul 21 2026

This album feels so nostalgic even though I didn't grow up on it. Also I was gagged because I had no clue that she did the gilmore girls song.

Jul 29 2026

I just love the whimsy of this group. Every song is so unique and fun. So many songs on this that I had never heard before that I really ended up enjoying.
