1001 Albums Summary

I was never a Talking Heads fan, beyond the 2 or 3 radio hits. I don't own their albums. That said, I enjoyed "Remain in Light" immensely, and have kicked myself in the ass for not listening earlier.

Never cared for Van Halen in the past. Still don't care for Van Halen.

I enjoyed this very much. Old jazz standards. The recording was top notch as well.

Meh. I know Radiohead is a good band. I just find them kind of whiny.

Never liked Queen

I own this record. I love it.

Absolutely the best Mo Town

Classic Bowie.

Best period pop / AM radio music ever. The recording was pristine, great left-right separation, sonically wonderful.

Better than I thought it would be, but not on my list of island records. Probably my age is beginning to show here.

I listened to 3 tracks. It sucked when it came out and it has not gotten better with time.

I was pleasantly surprised by Taylor Swift. For years I had been able to avoid listening to her music, but I listened to this twice and was impressed. Will I go out and buy tickets to her shows? No, but I understand why others might.

Not bad, but not my jam

I was excited to listen to this album as MIA was touted a few years ago in the same league as Bjork. I gave it up after listening to(2) autotuned songs that sounded just like every other hip hop song of that era. It sucked.

I have aways enjoyed Weather Report, They are kind of a bridge between be-bop and smooth jazz and very listenable,

There is very little rap or hip hop that I like, This was tolerable to me.Not anything I would buy on my own though.

Really good for that genre of jazz. Solo Flight is better - just Monk on the piano.

Love that samba and bossa nova sound. I own this album

I have heard this album so many times, I did not listen. I hate this record - noisy, simplistic hair band drivel.
