1001 Albums Summary

Not my thing

Loved it!

I found this utterly mesmerising

The range of feelings this album brings to me is always such a profound joy.

Sorry to say that this didn’t find any place within me. And I tried.

A classic album. Unbelievably beautiful

So refreshing and genuine

I have this album on vinyl but haven’t listened to it for many years. Now I remember why!

Liked the momentum and clarity of this. I’ll definitely listen again

The first two bars had me hooked. Loved this so much.

Meh! A couple of okay tunes but listening again reminded me I never really had much time for them

Great memories of this fab album. What a voice! What tunes! What a message!

Some great tracks here.

No soul but technically okay

Started so well. Echoes of Sons of Kemet. Then it became more like a 1970s TV theme show Love Boat. Very mixed feelings.

Very biased I’m afraid. An old favourite

Never underestimate just how groundbreaking this was. Not listened to it for years and so cohesive and immersive.

I liked the harmonies and themes on this.

godawful bilge

Some perfect tracks on here. Enjoyed a re-listen and smiled a lot.

Sonic shite. Marginally better once I imagined it to be an alternative soundtrack to Stranger Things.

Pleasantly surprised to listen to something so organic and pared back after the hullabaloo of the last couple of albums. Hints of James Taylor and good company.

But not my favourite of their albums. Wish you were here is the best for me.

I had to listen through twice to make sure I could believe and understand my ears. Five stars for sheer eclectic genius

Spacey and deliberate

Foot tapping fun.
