1001 Albums Summary

Monkey Man was the only notable song, everything else just felt like easy listening. I’m sure this did numbers back in 1969, but it doesn’t quite hold up to some of the songs that have stood the test of time.

Crosstown Traffic was heat. There were some notable songs here: Voodoo Chile, All Along The Watchtower, and some others, but eventually it just got repetitive. Still a good album, and Hendrix is an amazing player.

Something I don’t usually listen to. While I thought it was good, I probably won’t be listening to it again as it wasn’t quite my type of music. Vaguely medieval.

It was good, I’ve heard a few songs from it before and liked it. More my type of music.

I wish more radio stations would play more than just Born in the USA, cause some of the songs on here really hit home for me. Almost wanna say that Born in the USA shouldn’t be the top song on this album, but what do I know?

It was good, a few notable songs here, but a couple there weren’t as memorable.

Bland and boring. Not all albums and songs stand the testament of time and this is a good example of that. A lot of plucking guitar and vocals, the vocals of which aren’t that good.

It was okay, decent vocals, good lyrics, jammy instrumentals. But not entirely memorable.

For lack of a better word, interesting and unique elements in this album. Not something I’d normally listen to and some cool songs here.
