The White Album by Beatles
Aug 26 2026

#1 My first review on this website. Maybe one day I'll finish this challenge, maybe not. I will definitely not always be able to do one album every day. Anyways, idk who's even going to read this but I'll leave this out here. At times it's hard to get the hype of The Beatles but I try. Sometimes I succeed but have to force myself which may not be the best thing to do. Once I get them though, I truly get them but it really depends on my mood. The album itself is so bloated. It's always hard for me to listen to albums longer than an hour. Luckily SOME of the songs make up for it. One track The Beatles are being the brightest musicians of their generation and on the next they sound just like some drunks having fun. And of course there's Revolution 9... At the end of the day, the overall first impression of listening to a full album from this band is positive for me.

Trio by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

R.I.P Dolly Parton #2 This was hard for me to review since I'm not a fan of Country music, never listened to a full Country album and just associate the genre with America, beer, eagles and country roads. All I can say that these women can sing but a lot of the songs blurred into one. I might need to one day return to this album once I've made myself more familiar with Country music and Dolly Parton.

Moon Safari by Air
Aug 28 2026

#3 Feels like I'm in the best elevator in the world. The french were absolutely cooking in music in the 90s and 2000s. Daft Punk is obviously the most notable from this musical scene but today I learned there's more. Air is also supposed to be quite popular so I guess I'm not that deep in the rabbit hole to which I might not return to besides when it's time to listen to some Daft Punk.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Aug 31 2026

4# Mostly just generic rock music. Love the energy but I know quite a few local high school bands who sound better than this. Idk if every album on this 1001 album list even needs to be listened to before you die. Or wait, perhaps I have to get used to garage rock. Oh well, guess I have another album to return to one day.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Sep 01 2026

#5 Now that's some actual quality rock music. Felt very nice to listen and the dark vibe is really cool. I wish there was more to say but I was kinda sleepy listening to it.

21 by Adele
Sep 02 2026

#6 An album full of basic piano ballads about heartbreak but at the same time they're also good? Of course the whole thing here has mainstream pop kinda vibe but there's also something pure? I wonder what Adele could do if she was so much more open to making more unique sounding music. Or maybe her label just has preferences, idk.

How the fuck did this make it on the list. #7 As the album went on, so did the quality decline. This whole mess screams "I'm emo and the whole fucking world hates me". Luckily you can sniff out a few highlights when the energy and the performances click better than in the rest of the album.
