I mean come on, it has Take Five, one of the most recognizable jazz pieces composed in the last 100 years. Overall a bit on the smooth side for me but not so much that I found myself wanting to skip.

Short and sweet, pleasant little 70s folk rock album. Being mostly familiar with Taylor through Carole King I can see the influence of him in the arrangements in Tapestry.
The middest of mid. It's unclear to my why this is on this list outside of a purely historical context.

I don't really like anything about this album. The composition, arrangement, production. Self-indulgent and noisy without clear direction. Feels like the studio was lacking someone to tell the band no.
I can appreciate a more downtempo or experimental album but this just meanders through relatively uninteresting ground for an hour, petering out into nothing for so long that it feels more like 2 hours.
I know Blur was influential contemporarily but this album today feels like it's here off Song 2 alone.

Meh, who cares. This album has some classics on it but largely feels like The Who doing a bad Beatles impression. It lacks what feels like almost everything that makes their sound unique, including a lot of the heaviness and composition. Almost insultingly bluesy in some places to the point that I sincerely hope it's parody, also too long.
Not my favorite Sigur Ros album. I'm higher on their more energetic projects. That said this wasn't unpleasant to listen to.
