1001 Albums Summary

This is one of my favorite Stevie Wonder albums to listen to from start to finish. It's got so many hits and is really easy. Listening anytime of day anytime of the year.

Classic. Some great hits. Quick listen. A true poet.

Quite possibly my favourite live album ever. Ginger Baker is phenomenal and Fela does what Fela does best. Love this album from start to finish.

Sam Cooke LIVE! Some classic covers and sing-alongs. Not necessarily the best live album but certainly filled with some jams.

Nostalgia at it's best. This album hit at such an important time in my life. It is solid from beginning to end.

Classic country album by one of the greats. Easy entry into Dolly's catalogue. Good anytime music.

It's good. I see why it's popular. Not always in the mood. Definitely some jams, King Kunta and Momma.

Always love coming back to J5. Nostaglia. Reminds me of everything that I love about hip hop. This album has some solid guests. Easy to listen to from start to finish.

Can't believe that I hadn't heard this album. I can see why Kurt Cobain/Nirvana covered it, they must have been a big influence on them. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth a listen. I would have never guessed that this was released in '84.

I can't. IDK what it is but this all sounds the same to me. I know that Megadeth have a huge following but I can't get into them.

What a excellent album. A life cut tragically short. Solid sing alongs. Nostalgic but yet feels very current.

Sting et al. are so easy to listen to. Background music or actively listening this fits many occasions. Classic hits. Enjoyable. I see why the Police were so well respected.

It was a good listen. Classic Dylan. You can see how he was a genius and a huge influence. Not always my cup of tea but still an easy listen.

What a solid album. Not necessarily my jam. A little rock with a country twang. A few classics. Easy listening. Listen to it 3x on the first night. Will likely revisit.

Always a solid listen. Timeless. Makes you wonder what could have been next but maybe we just have to be thankful that she released this one off. We can't wait any longer. There's no way she'd relocate anything this good. Expectations are too high.

It's jazz. It's listenable. Definitely need to be in the mood. Road tripping this wasn't the right fit. Will need to go back and relisten at a later date.

Aside from the familiar snippets you hear on soundtracks, listening to this front-to-back was a hard slog. I wasn't feeling it from the jump, and to my ears, it has aged very poorly. I can't imagine putting myself through a re-listen, though I'd love to hear different perspectives from anyone who loves it.

What a solid album. I am all in for the eastern music. Definitely will relisten.

Idk. Not sure how it made the list. Sounds like so many others, were they the original, I doubt it. Very dated. Generic 80s sound.
