Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Oct 05 2026

Apparently, last time I heard this, I gave it an 8/10… Unfortunately, I do not agree with my past self. I think it’s a strong debut and there’s definitely a distinct sound, but I don’t see myself ever having a Violent Femmes urge. Probably very nice in a live setting, though. Also I want an acoustic bass

Although Eminem will always be nostalgic and has some bangers, this hasn’t aged well. Can’t stop thinking the crowd for this was mostly white American Pie dudes, hard listen

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Oct 07 2026

This kind of 70’s production is right up my alley. Good happy energy - 3,5

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Oct 08 2026

Last time I heard this I gave it 5/10, which is still accurate for me. I like the new shift Miles took with this but it’s not my go-to if I would put him on. It’s a 2.5 for me

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Oct 09 2026

2.5. You can hear Corgans writing in many of these. Some good tunes but I’m not to keen on the production. It’s quite post-grungy which I don’t favour

Metallica by Metallica
Oct 12 2026

I love Metallica and this is such nostalgia for me. I’ve always felt that this album has some certified bangers but also some silly ones that I can never wrap my head around. I respect the shift they made but it will always be where their decline started. 3.5

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Oct 13 2026

It’s better than I remember! Can’t stop smiling

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Oct 15 2026

2.5. A bit too proggy for me, also quite all over the place in genre. I think they have some better tunes than this one
