I was looking forward to a reason to listen to this album. It just didn’t jump out at me

Lame Impala.

OK. Its the same kind of dreamy pop-rock that I quite liked with War on Drugs due to listening to it at the time. I do think it sounds dated now and I don't have the same nostalgic associations so...

Despite two good songs, it's totally dispensable.
