Fever To Tell
Yeah Yeah YeahsGreat early 00's rock album. Rich is a really good punk song. Early album is filled with some good punk music, but they kind of run together a bit. Maps and Y Control are stand outs for sure

Not outstanding in anyway. Definitely an album that makes me not want to listen to the list for a few days
Listened to 01/12/21 Purple Haze was obviously a top hit... recognized it off the bat without actually knowing the name of it or that it was a Jimi song. Wind Cries Mary is probably my 2nd favorite after that one, and it was also a top hit from the album. I like the sound of Are you Experienced? as well. Seems like a song that could be sampled and probably has been. Remember is a song covered by Jack Johnson, and I didn't know the original was Jimi. Great song. Highway Chile had some great melody as well. Red House is an amazing song and great example of Blues/Rock & Roll that makes me realize why Jimi was regarded as the genius he was. Also, Third Stone from the Sun made me feel like I was on something...
Black Hole Sun just sounds very different to the rest of the album. Every song is a rock marathon... Must have a guitar solo to make the song 6+ mins. The guitar work is pretty incredible, but just gets redundant when every song does it. I love the drummer as well.
Listened to 01.14.21 The title track was the only one that I really liked. It has a Strokes feel. Almost as if the album/sound was a decade or two ahead of it's time. I feel like if it came out in the late 90's or early 00's it would have been a big success.
Great album. Very nostalgic feel. I think my parents listened to this one a lot around me when I was young. Do it Again, Dirty Work, Brooklyn are all great songs. And Reelin' In the Years is easily recognizable and a great song that has lasted for nearly 50 years. Overall a great album to put on in the background and chill out to
Good Album to put on in the background... Not much interested in listening on the regular though
Not much into heavy metal. Couldn't make it through Rise Above, which is apparently the most listened to song on the album.
Great album and band, I loved Time to Get Away, All my Friends, and others had some great beats to listen to.
If Rolling Stones were less popular and came out two decades later... Not my favorite
Generational album. Great songs mixed with great stories. King Kunta, Alright, How Much a Dollar Cost, The Blacker the Berry, i

Sounds like a poor man's version/inspiration for Tom Petty. Didn't really like even the most popular song, All the Young Dudes
"Won't trade" and "Life is better" were okay... But I think the style is just not for me.
Faith and One More Try were really good, but the rest of the songs kind of melded together. I couldn't listen to 10 minutes of "I Want Your Sex"
Loved Another Girl, Another Planet. Blink 182 did a cover of it that I loved as a kid. Rest of the album was good, but nothing stood out as great
It’s probably a 4 star album, but has a few songs that are/were very overplayed. Still has others that I forgot about that were really good as well like “In My Place”
Listening back I am starting to see how it was turned into a musical, and I’d actually like to see it. Had some great flashbacks to when I was a kid in the 90’s and played this album a lot. Great portrait of the angsty 90’s pop rock and her voice comes through well on songs like “perfect”

Too heavy for me... Didn't get past the 1st song
