Great vintage soul.

It's punk. Loud and free.

It's got so many greats from Steely Dan, who can say no?

It is quite relaxing.

Some screeching is fine, but there are limits... this pushes the boundary a points. Some of it is fun.

Solid metal with a guy that actually sings.

not sure why you need to say MF that often, and part of the concept album flavor is lost on me... but it was really good

Obviously similar to Steely Dan, thick harmonic lines, great arrangements.

crazy instrumentation, ultra long songs that run into one another, parts don't hold together at times, but what a ride...

Great stuff, I love they mix the bass hot. Great musicianship, solid guitar fills and solos.

The band name throws me off, I was surprised by their sound.

His voice is so not mainstream, but then neither is the writing... so yeah.

why does anyone like this more than anything else? kind of sucks

starts a little slow, but finds it's groove (naturally... can you even reggae if you can't find the groove?)

maybe it's good for electronica things? it wasn't offensive

that one song is really long

at times it was exciting, mostly just droned on... not in a bad way, but eh

some things haven't aged well (wham bam thank you ma'am) but this album is a classic, buck and the band show a lot of range

a lot of the horn tunes are catchy and fun, but apparently not breakout hits like Eileen... their slower songs don't have enough gravitas to carry them

Great country album, a benchmark for the genre.

the music part is a lot more interesting than a lot of rap music, but still... why?

some real classics on this one, but i grew up on some of these redone, like Big 10 Inch and Walk This Way... so they sound "right" to me
