La Revancha Del Tango by Gotan Project
May 14 2021

decent to run to. Probably better to dance to. Like the accordion. The songs with vocals were more enjoyable.

Dog Man Star by Suede
May 17 2021

Rock opera feel. Kind of like dream theater but. less impressive instrumentals. Back side soulful, somewhat enjoyable

Funeral by Arcade Fire
May 18 2021

Really enjoyed this when it came out. Wake Up is one of my favorite songs.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
May 19 2021

Easy listen. Full of great tracks, Jammin’, Three Little Birds, One Love, Exodus. The rest of the album supports those hits and is calming and enjoyable.

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
May 21 2021

Musical feel. Heavy, somber. Couldn’t get into it.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
May 24 2021

Fun and poppy. The sound just feels like the 80s. Definitely enjoy the hits. Rest of the album carries fairly well.

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
May 25 2021

Sure shot and sabotage are jams. The album is eclectic, fun. Very listenable. Didn’t appreciate the whole album when it first came around.

The Doors by The Doors
May 26 2021

I have difficulty separating the album from the movie. Break on Through is a great, quick track. Songs like light my fire and The End are still good for a listen now and again.

The Yes Album by Yes
May 27 2021

Surprised by the year on this one. Had some sounds of Rush and Crosby stills and Nash in terms of instrumentals and vocals respectively. We definitely listen to it again.

May 28 2021

I’m mostly surprised I hadn’t heard this album is and how many Wu-Tang references I’ve been exposed to

May 31 2021

Very familiar album. Wonderwall still feels overplayed though I haven’t heard it in years. All the tracks are solid. Very good album

Spiderland by Slint
Jun 01 2021

This album influenced Pavement and the similarities are clear. Interestingly in the math rock genre. The band broke up before album became critically acclaimed. It’s moody, grungy - feels like Seattle scene music but they’re from Louisville. Good album.

Jun 03 2021

Meandering. This album reveals glimpses of a band that has better songs and albums. None of the tracks here were particularly inspired.

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
Jun 04 2021

Liked it. Didn’t get to listen too closely though, need to hear again

Kenya by Machito
Jun 07 2021

Fun!

Exile In Guyville by Liz Phair
Jun 09 2021

Sounds like Courtney Barnett, or more she sounds like her.

Imperial Bedroom by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Jun 10 2021

I’m familiar with Elvis Costello, only recognized one song on the track. I appreciated the variety of instruments and genres throughout the album, but his voice is not my favorite.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jun 15 2021

Raw, complex melodies

Imagine by John Lennon
Jun 24 2021

Imagine and Jealous Guy carry in the beginning. Otherwise generally good album.

Hotel California by Eagles
Jan 04 2022

Hotel California still very good song. Rest of album listenable

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 18 2022

Feel good Americana

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jan 24 2022

Beach Boy vibes but not up to the classics.
