Don't have this and mainly knew the hits from this one. Very enjoyable as expected when I saw it come up.
Dolly's writing is very good and all-star backup musicians. But I like Dolly in smaller portions than an entire album.

I'll give this some credit as a groundbreaking LP at the time it came out and there are 3-4 songs that have held up pretty well. But not that great an album on its merits.

I couldn't really enjoy this album. Lust For Life is a catchy tune but lyrics aren't much. The Passenger is probably the best on here, a couple others aren't bad numbers but I can't rate this very high.
Some pretty good production and music here but rap just doesn't do it for me. I did manage to make it through about half of this album - some parts sort of OK but couldn't take anotheer 8-9 cuts.
I couldn't listen to the entire first cut - nothing really musical about this. Did skip through the rest trying to find something worthwhile to listen to but not really successful.

I knew this album fairly well but it was good to listen to the whole thing, I find most of the cuts to be enjoyable. I think her voice is very compelling as is her songwriting.
Very good album. For all the airplay on Side One cuts, Side Two is also very good. had not listened to this in a long time.
I could not stop listening to this even though some of the songs are kind of dated. Just love that voice.
I wasn't really sure I even wanted to listen to this as I don't really like much hip-hop. Ended up skipping through quite a few songs but some of the soul/R&B sounding cuts were enjoyable.

I'm of two minds on this one. If I heard any single cut from this on radio or streaming, I would make a point to check out who/what it is. But listening to the whole thing seemed interminably long and somewhat tedious.
I guess this is a pretty fair representation of the grunge scene but not to my taste.
I had only heard The Cure on radio - so only their hits. Hearing this full LP was a pleasant surprise.
0couldn't listen through the first two tracks - skipped through, stopped and listened to a couple more tracks but I found nothing that is "must hear".
Never been a metal fan but have come to appreciate to an extent. Some very good musicians here but I can't stomach the screaming lyrics. A few cuts in, I gave up on this.
I like a lot of Madonna's early work - pretty good pop music from its period with very good production. I don't think this is her best early LP despite a few good cuts on the album. In my view, she goes downhill from here.
