The Divine ComedyThis album was… not my jam. Sounded like some off brand Bowie wrote some insane score to a musical and arranged the songs out of order.

It’s chaotic. The first half sounds like it was written by a bunch of super high kids who were fascinated by all of the new sound effects uploaded into their synth who made a collective pact to use as many of them in every song as possible. And the second half is like weird bird noises and people snoring over what I imagine they play in opium dens. Super “vibey” but not in a cool way. I hate it. It’s definitely a psychedelic album and I can say with certainly I’ve never been as high as these people.
Enjoyed the instrumentation on this album but found the tracks overall to be a little monolithic. The lyrics and vocals were, candidly, whiney. An album professing unrequited love in near atonality and watery musicality. Not exactly my vibe.
Classic 80s sound. Good mix in styles of songs. Generally enjoyable listen but wouldn’t listen through again.
Pretty classically 80s British pop punk. Not a bad listen overall.

Id say this album is “fine.” A lot of the songs sound about the same. Easy listening.
Great listen all the way through - so many bangers. Lively, percussive instrumentals serve as a lovely counterpoint to the gritty vocals. Classic CCR sound. Would listen again.
A band with a sound all their own - this album was a fun listen from open to close. A tried and true new aged classic.
Not exactly my vibe. Don’t love being yelled at but the instrumentals were impressive.
Preferred the first half of the album, which was more rock centric to the more country/bluegrass vibes of the second half. Reminiscent of what was to become with Crosby stills Nash and young. Acid rock meets the stones with a fiddle in the middle.
Clearly a time piece and operatic in nature. A fun listen but kind of depressing. Understood the light show thing for the first time.
I just personally really dislike his voice. Instrumentation was… fine. His songs all kind of sound the same.
Good lyrics, interesting tunes. A staple album filled with psychedelic notes of self exploration.
Pleasant and easy listening from start to finish. Pretty emotional.

Jam band album. Personally just more of an in studio album Vs recorded in this type of environment. Cool to hear the 11 min version but cooler to hear the distilled intentional version. Not a bad listen overall. Would not listen again.
Not my fave album of hers. A few bangers. Overall kind of desperate and whiney lyrically.
You can really sense the late 70s early 80s vibe of this album from production to instrumentation. This album was solidly okay.
Theatrical rock with haunting female vocals.
More southern rock and metal influence to this Vs other Aerosmith albums. A quick fun listen.
New achey futuristic album dedicated to the hostile takeover of evil robots. Ethereal and chill sounding despite the lyrical content.
A little redundant but overall a pleasant listen.
Instrumentally compelling with a consistent sound throughout
Fine album just not my jam.
Fun mix of covers and originals in an instrumental format.
Important message but musically a bit dissonant for my liking.
New agey
A little repetitive. Wouldn’t listen again.
