Meh. It's fine, just not really my thing
Boring and inoffensive
Meh.
Nah
Awful
Pretty good in places, pretty average in others
Pretty awful.
The hits are great, the rest...less so
Not bad. The hits on this one are the cheesier cuts...
This hasn't aged very well - sounds very much of its time. Some good songs, but generally pretty lame, although rather easy-listening.
Still sounds bloody good. I don't love it as much as their previous two albums, but it is still excellent.
So 60s it's funny
So of it's time...could be a handful of other bands from the early 90s, all much of a muchness but all really good too. Very much my era and area
Yeah nah
Nice
Pretty classic.
Obviously a stone-cold classic...but just not really my thing
So many amazing albums from the first half of the 90s. This isn't one of them.
One of my favourite albums of all time, and one of the first I remember loving as a young child. Not so keen on DB's later stuff, but this is pure genius.
Not amazing but ok
Pretty damn funky
Such an amazing voice, great tunes...not something I would listen to that often, but definitely a classic
Fantastic. I've obviously known of The Isley Brothers for ever, but had never really listened to them. Great stuff.
Brilliantly original and distinctive.
Nice, but really not my bag
I made it through 8½, then a couple more. Some are good, some are ok, some are shit
Another giant of musical history that just doesn't do it for me
Not as good as his previous two, but still pretty good
Quite like
Another classic which I've managed to avoid for 50 years. Pretty good.
Hmm, pretty dodgy
Not massively inspiring. Kind of nice but also a bit meh
Superfly indeed. And Superfunky
Original and interesting, still sounds good to me.
Beautiful, but perhaps just a bit too introspectively maudlin
Quite bonkers, their influence on subsequent bands very evident, and their likeness to contemporaries (esp Roxy Music) also clear. I didn't love it much as I hoped I would, but I will listen again.
I was expecting this to sound really dated and was very surprised that it didn't. However, I was never a fan, and this listen didn't change that.
Yeah...fun, but not amazing
Really not my jam, but far from the unlistenable shite I had half expected
Pretty dated. Pretty mid.
Yeah nah
Still sounds surprisingly good
Like. Hadn't listened to Arcade Fire properly but this is good.
Kinda feels like standard 60s pop. Nice but not amazing. Plus it's mostly covers.
Fantastic
I'm a huge Costello fan but this is far from my favourite of his albums. Still pretty good though.
Great voice, cheesy music
Really surprised how many of these songs I knew - wasn't aware of ever having heard much besides Blister. A pretty ace album actually.
Oh God, my ears! The title track is a classic. The rest of the album is unbearable soft jazz wank.
I think this is great. Haven't relistened yet but I'm sure it will have stood the test of time.
Nice melodic quirky indie pop. Still sounding surprisingly fresh.
Country wank
Pretty great 70s pop punk. Didn't know it but like it.
