1001 Albums Summary

I mean it's alright. Can't ever imagine think ooh I must listen to Maggot Brain. If I was 30 years younger and wasted I'd probably feel different but it's just not the kind of music that features in my life anymore. 2½ out of 5.

Comes and goes without making much of an impression. His voice and guitar playing are still exceptional but doesn't seem to have the memorable songs that Bryter Layter have, although that could just be because I've listened to those two albums many more time than this. 4/5

Better than I was expecting, not that interesting though

Couple of good songs but a lot of the kind of filler you'd expect on a soundtrack album. Always really liked his voice though

Started off quite well but turned into a bit of a slog after about 20 minutes. The voice and the orchestration became a bit much.

Musically it's pretty great, but that voice and those lyrics really bring the whole thing down.

Pretty embarrassing for all concerned tbh

Strictly speaking it's a 4½ but I rounded up.

Really the only person working at the same level as the Beatles

Really low quality, amateurish rubbish.

Noped out at Flick of the Wrist. It's just not for me.
