From Elvis In Memphis
Elvis PresleyNever been an Elvis fan. This was not something I’d choose to listen to again.

It was ok. It’s the smiths for sure. 3.5/5
Neil Young is best to me in smaller doses.
Pretty generic sounding overall. A couple ok songs.
Beastie Boys but with some of that 90s messy brownness going on. Can dig it but wouldn’t pick it every day.
Race for the Prize - classic The Spark that Bled 10/10 Middle was the usual sort of silly but still somewhat poignant Flaming Lips I have come to know and enjoy. The Observer, a beautiful tune. Suddenly Everything has Changed 10/10 The Gash - classic much love
Pretty good!! but… Early 70s Bowie> Late 70s Bowie to me 3.5/5
My face today realizing the Damned is punk af and not whatever I thought they were: :? ——> :o ——> :) ——> :D Loveee the Syd vibes on These Hands
MISSSSSSAY WE THE BEST MUSIC. MISSY MISSY ELLIOT Liked some songs quite a bit didn’t care for it as much as a whole.
Surprisingly fun album. Really dig the latter half. Will be revisiting this one again for sure.
This one was not for me. My cat really seemed to enjoy it though.
Nice change of pace from the last couple days. Pretty goood mix of tunes! Title track is so very solid. Judy and the Dream of Horses was a fave as well as Me and The Major
I think this would be pretty nice on an early summer morning. A bit long winded at times for me.
It was aiiight. I really really enjoyed a few tracks but felt pretty neutral toward many others. Pressure on Julian was one of my top tracks. Also really dig the instrumentals on Chemical World.
Wowza I sure loved this one. Will return to this again and again I feel. Really neat since I doubt I would have found this album otherwise. Mid to late 60s was such a good time for music. Stay was a great opening. Parade (A Banda) was right up my alley, super enjoyable. Oba oba has that 60s whimsy in sound and lyrics that I am a sucker for. You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice was a cute and pretty little tune!
Fuck yeah to the whole damn thing.
Did not know what to expect going into this one. Enjoyed a lot of the songs but felt the flow was a little weird at times.
A classic. It had been a while and I never realized how long this was. Quite a few 10/10 songs for me on there but a few just okay ones as well.
This was aight. First couple tracks were very good. I dig the intro on Idioteque as well.
Really loved the sounds on this one. Dig me some good percussion.
Love Alex Turner and was really excited for this but it was just alright. Not bad by any means but I guess I am just struggling to see why it belongs on the list.
No thank you. Album cover fucks though.
This was pretty alright!! Didn’t care for Sly as much as the other tracks. Particularly dug Chameleon and the smooth yet sort of funky vibes on Vein Melter.
This was damn good. Didn’t expect to like it so much but I get it now. I get it.
I liked how the songs all build upon themselves. Fun listen.
this was not my cup of tea
I can appreciate her voice but I am not very into this style of music.
Really enjoyed this one! The first half in particular was was a fun ride.
Ooowie what a goodie. Was weird juxtaposition listening to this driving in the desert though!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME Oh to have been in Abbey Road Studios when they were recording this and the Beatles were there recording Sgt. Peppers at the same damn time. Fucking hell 67’ is my favorite year for music. LUCIFER SAM, SIAM CAT!! YIPPEE! YOU CAN’T SEE ME BUT I CAN YOU LOOK AT THE SKY, LOOK AT THE RIVER ISN’T IT GOOD? A MOVEMENT IS ACCOMPLISHED IN SIX STAGES AND THE SEVENTH BRINGS RETURN I’LL GIVE YOU ANYTHING, EVERYTHING IF YOU WANT THINGS
Not bad but sort of one note. Very much a typical and somewhat decent britpop album.
I realllly realllly like some of the songs but the ones I didn’t I reallly disliked, it was a good one overall.
Overall this album really was such an enjoyable experience. I have been told these guys fuck and just figured it was 80s nostalgia hype but these guys do fuck pretty hard.
Had some good stuff going on in there. I do love me some impressive percussion so that was a plus. Top tracks for me: Ratamahatta Breed Apart Jasco Itsári
Had no idea who these guys were before this album. Heard the name did not know the genre. Very 80s very fun. I dig this one a lot. I thought for so long I did not like 80s music and the older I get the more I get proved wrong. Faves : One More Chance Shopping Rent
Everybody wants to party with Aretha!!! Such a beautiful album. Her voice brings me back to my childhood. Love love loved every second of this.
Noise and I guess possibly rock.
This was just ok. Liked some of the tracks really didn’t care for others. Not sure really how I feel About this one… May give it another listen in a different headspace
This was a solid one! Very much felt like a mix of 90s and 2000s vibes.
Always enjoyed this one immensely. First half is an 11/10 for me second is closer to 9/10.
This album was really great!! My favorite track was Nick. Thought the guitar was nice on that one. Happy to have found something new that was so fresh and enjoyable.
This was aight. Not really my jam but I liked his voice especially liked Stand Up.
Wowza didn’t think I was going to dig this one. Definitely reminded me of listening to music with my dad and his family. I feel like Deep Purple was one of those bands my uncles talked about a lot and I didn’t understand the hype. Child in Time and Lazy were my favorites of the album.
Really thought I would enjoy this more. Pretty mediocre album for a genre I usually really Love.
What a gem of an album. As a kid I thought I didn’t like Carole King, I couldn’t relate to her music. Now as an adult I wish I couldn’t relate to it but I love it.
Very good driving rock with a tiny bit of 60s influence creeping in there. Classic album. War Pigs, Paranoid, Planet Caravan, Hand of Doom all highlights for me but the whole thing is so good.
Have always loved this album so so much. Drive, Try Not to Breathe, The Sidewinder Sleeps, New Orleans Instrumental No. 1, Man on the Moon, Nightswimming all some of my favorite tracks ever. Can’t believe I’m giving yet another five this week.
Did not much care for this one too much as a whole. Useful Chamber was the highlight for me. Very much felt the 2009 in it. Vampire Weekend vibes. I also did really love the auto generated Spotify radio for the album a lot so idk why Bitte Orca wasn’t doing it for me :/
Ended up really enjoying this. The first half was alright but the second half was really damn good. Weird sort of stuff but up my alley it was!
Meh this was a pretty mid album
This one didn’t do much for me.
Never been an Elvis fan. This was not something I’d choose to listen to again.
Love me some Beatles. Fave songs off this one: All My Loving Till There Was You Money (That’s What I Want)
I dig that it was made in 76 and sounds so good but it’s fucking boring
this album is a fucking gem
